Default Dharamsala weather - A worrying factor for the tigers. Super 10 equation in jeaopardy.

Quote:
Dharamsala weather looking particularly bad for Friday and Sunday, looks like > 80% rain from 6pm on Friday and that rain continuing till Monday. In that case both our games will be a washout.

So, if we get two draws in there and one win today, that means if Ireland wins today against Oman they will have the same points as us. Which means the NRR will come into affect for us going through. Makes today's game even more important as there should be no problems with weather today.

Hope Mash and co know this and take care of the NRR, well Ireland will know what they need to get though when they play Oman who is a much lesser of an opponent, so they have an upperhand and they will surely take care of that NRR by going all at it.

I blame ICC for this stupid format man, we played Asia cup finals on the 6th and we didn't even get to play the warm up matches, you can't control the weather but if we can't get through to the main round expect a huge backlash.
I said this in another thread and this requires some extra attention.

Google says > 70 - 80% rain for Dharamsala for both Friday and Sunday, in which case the matches will be washed out as there is no reserved days.

http://www.worldweatheronline.com/dh...radesh/in.aspx

Says it is 70% chance of rain on that day.

https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l...+INXX0327:1:IN

Says it is 80% on Sunday and 60% on Sunday.

So the data looks accurate, in that case if we get two draws today's game will decide whether we go through or not. And even winning it won't matter if Ireland scores heavily and bowls out Oman for a really low score, all possible. So, we need to win and win big here, I am really worried now coz we just finished a big tournament and we don't have any match practice here. We should win but not sure bout the NRR

Is there any reserve day? We can not afford two washed out days.

There is no reserved days! This is it. We MUST NOT ONLY WIN against Holland but beat them convincingly to gain that NRR advantage. The other two games look like a washout atm.

his google yields better result?

Let's not worry about things we can not control. What's gonna happen what's not gonna happen...

One game at a time... let's go win today. But the asia cup final to transition of qualifer ppl brought it up long before that if bd plays final they wouldn't have enough time to acclimitize and practice... Poor BCB planning that was.

One thing is for sure, the stadium and weather is beautiful and it looks like a flat track, so one cannot complaint about that.

Sakib's bad form continues. The new bad did not help him. He really should pay more attention to his batting. It is a good decision to send in Mahmudullah now.

If the upcoming matches in Dharamshala get washed out, I will feel really sad for the associates. The tournament shouldn't have this post qualifier qualifier format.

If the matches do take place dew will be a massive factor given both are night matches. Hope the management realises it and are taking action to be able to cope with it.
