^ Some people perhaps somewhat superstitious and don't want to "hype" another player, might get jinxed.

Just me, or does he turn the ball more than our other frontline spinners? In this case, comparing him to Taijul.

Anyway, I quite like his bowling action. I think we should find a place for him. And that's not saying I am shutting the door on Nas either. Ideally, I would want both Nas and Mos in the team.

Should have batted higher. Don't understand why team had a brainfart batting him so low.

Replaced Kayes, then play him at the position Kayes played!

^^ He is a middle order batsman, so it's understandable that batting order was shifted to accommodate him. However, he looked way better to come to bat after Sabbir.

Something Ryad about him, calm, matured but delivered the goods, batted with tail and remained not out.
Efficace with the ball.
Good prospect, hope he continues this way.
We have had too many excellent debutants, Nasir,Bijoy,Zubair,Elias,Taijul.
Its all about consistency.

Very solid batsman in lower order. Bowling : I'm not sure about the action. Overall an asset of the team in coming days ...

Debut te superstar hoi amader player. Once place is secure triggers the downfall. Nasir is a prime example. So i will remain cautiously optimistic until mosaddek can prove himself in his second year at international cricket. Can Mosaddek be any different than mominul, nasir, gazi, anamul, soumya, shabbir etc? Time will tell.

That is why I am so wary.

We have seen so many times that players stop performing all of a sudden. Perhaps it wasn't just quality but:

-debuting during a purple patch
-opposition figuring out the flaws and the players not correcting them

Mushy, Riad, Shakib, Tamim all improved because they worked hard consistenly

Looks terrific.

But i remember Nasir was outstanding at the beginning too. Almost too good.

I just hope Mr Mosaddek keeps his head on the game, works hard and doesnt follow the path of our Rangpur hero

A really good first outing but we need to remember a lot do well early on, it's whether they can sustain that success which is what seperates the keepers and the discards. Mosaddek has always batted middle to lower order in one-dayers, it is a lot to ask to expect him to suddenly jump into internationals and play out of position up the order (it's tougher to move up than to move down generally).
