Let's go Tigers. Let's dominate INT cricket for next 12 months, starting with this match

It's going to be tough since we are playing away. Also, we won't have the fans support. If we do win this series, then it will be our best ODI series win for sure. I'll gamble in the 1st ODI and go with 4 fast bowlers. Key players will be Shakib (with ball) and Mahmudullah (with bat). Riyad should also be trusted to bowl some off-spin: we saw how he took responsibility with the ball in BPL. We must aim to score over 300 on these grounds to make a match out of this. Players such as Guptill and Williamson are world class bats. Fizz should be looking to get these two precious wickets.

Likely XI,

1. Tamim
2. Imrul
3. Soumya
4. Riyad
5. Rahim
6. Shakib
7. Sabbir
8. Mash
9. Mustafiz
10. Rubel
11. Taskin

That lower order is effed and long! These guys needs to learn to bat. Seriously!
Riyad/Rahim needs to step the **** up, put their sr. boy pants on and bat at 3. I thought Sabbir was becoming our answer to no. 3 but what happened? When did it become a rule that SS will bat at 3 in NZ/Aus and Sabbir in BD?

Ideally I'd prefer,

1. Tamim
2. Imrul/SS
3. Sabbir
4. Riyad
5. Shakib
6. Rahim
7. Nurul
8. Mash
9. Fizz
10. Rubel
11. Taskin

I think we need to play Miraz, too much pace won't really help. An offie even in kiwiland can be useful if he bowls well. His batting is definitely better than the pacers.

Shabbir should not be exposed against the new ball when we have to deal with Southee, Boult and co. He is the only power-hitter we got and so he should be used to get us the runs in the death overs against an older ball. Otherwise the lack of hitting ability in the last 4-5 overs will hurt us badly just like it did in the practice game.

We need Kayes and Tamim to give us a steady start and then Soumiya to up the run rate. Mullah and Mushfiq can then consolidate and later on Shakib and Shabbir can do the power hitting at the death. This is how i would like our innings to go.

all of that goes out the window if we are 4/5 down under 100 though

It will start at 4am Bangladesh time. I hate the timings.

I know its holiday season but for the sake of humanity start the match in the late afternoon so that we Bangladeshis don't have to suffer so much.

That will also ensure more viewers from Bangladesh = more money. So much for being smart. No wonder the sport is suffering, wrong people in the wrong places

^ Love this timing! Only time we get good timing is if the games are played in Aus/NZ or Carribean. EVERYWHERE else it's at the effed up hour!

So Christchurch... seamers heaven! Last time Kiwis played an ODI there, destroyed Sri Lanka by bowling them out under 150 and then chased it down insanely quick. Last time they played test there against Pakistan last month, again, seamers dominated big times. So gotta pack the side with all 4 seamers. Rest, need as many batsmen as possible. No room/need for spin allrounders or "genuine" spinners.

Tamim
Imrul
Soumya
Riyad
Shabbir
Mushy
Shakib
Mash
Taskin
Rubel
Fizz

this maybe a very difficult match to win. prolly the most difficult match of the year. Lets see!

Need to win the toss and bowl first. I don't think our batsmans know how to set a winning target when they bat first.

4 seamers is the key. And we need to get Guptil early and Williamson too. Guptil is a HOME bully and loves bullying bowlers in small grounds of NZ. If we get him early, NZ will be under pressure.

No....I would`nt think so, NZ is a really good, side and at home we are even more potent, think about it like this we beat AUS,2-1, the then number 1 ranked ODI, still number 1 if I am correct, the NZ attack is the most potent ever, Southee, Homme,Lockie Ferguson and Boult all have Serious pace, to top it all off Matt Henry, adds the cherry on Top for our attack, Mustafizur, is the only one who can do some real damage, don`t forget Rubel, our batting is world-class, Williamson and Guptill,Latham and Taylor can do real damage...BD`s batsmen are prone to collapse, and don`t think Mahmudullah and Co will have any success against this years attack. Anyway cricket is a funny game, we will see how you guys do.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BLACKCAPS

My Xi

Martin Guptill
Tom Lathan/Jeet Raval
Kane Williamson
James Neesham
Colin Munro
Watling
Santner
Homme
Boult
Ferguson
Southee

Our strategy in this whole NZ tour should be, to bowl first if we win the toss. Best of luck to the lads.

The top order looks very very vulnerable to me tbh. You got Imrul who got no idea about the moving ball, will fail atleast 2 times out of 3, the third time he may luck out to score a paltry 30 just enough to give him chance for the other two failures and you got SS who is still returning to form and we got absolutely no bearings on how he actually may feel and perform. Tamim is always solid and will be expectedly to lead the way but if you have 2 out of 3 players on a swing machine chances are you will have a slow start and a much needed consolation period which will bring the whole total down and keep us out of the game. Our best chances are to actually bowl them out to a low score and chase a low score, that's the way we can win some matches here. Bowling is the most important key to this, don't give them any chance to build a total, keep your gun bowlers, keep Rubel who is in red hot form, keep Fizz as he can be the destroyer and let's hope for the best

Ok, drop a player who scored 100 vs NZ in NZ and go for Souyma Sarkar whose got a lone 50....Bangladeshi fans are so arrogant, recently I saw a post on FB stating how his average is so high (51), BUT they fail to state that he has played only 1 match where he has scored 51, you guys are so daft and arrogant, this tour will bring you down to earth... HOPE DOES`NT WIN MATCHES,RUNS DO. Don`t open with Sarkar, just because he scored a 40 against our Domestic rejects, trust me stick to Imrul
