Default Do we empty our bench and play the next game against Afghans?

1) Our next game a dead rubber against Afghans.
2) Unforgiving conditions with the heat.
3) Mushi was cramping.
4) Shakib has his finger issue.
5) Mash is old. Rest him for the next day.

Why would you even risk anything WHEN THE SECOND ROUND MATCH STARTS the next freaking day for us against Ind or Pak?

This is a poll thread. Support your choice. For me it is a no brainer. Empty out the bench. Ranking points'er kheta-puri. Bragging rights against the Afghans'er gushti kilai. Main goal is to win the cup, no? Wouldn't be in the best interest to rest the big guns? Give Riyad the team and let him operate. Let the Tiger cubs grow under his wing. What better opportunity will we have to test the bench strength?

Back to back game koilam ie gorom'e. Both Ind and Pak will rest (our opponent). We are already injury-filled team and lost Tamim for the tournament.

We can afford to rest the key players now. We can't afford Mash, Fizz, Mushi, Shakib all drained out against Ind or Pak because of a faltu dead rubber game.

Every help they can get to have a Ind - Pak final. Both Afg and BD (Group B) will have back to back game.

Yeah. Got it. However, back to back game schedule would nt' be changed even if HK makes it to the second round.

Need to have best XI against AFG. We are very unlikely to win again PAK and IND. Thus we must win both of our games against AFG.

Strategy should be win toss, bat first, start slow, build partnership, get 250+ total.

No point playing the bench. It does not guarantee a win against Big 2.

The second round starts on Friday only if we win against the Afghans

If we lose, we get more rest.

If we win, we play the next day

then we should lose and play the bench. normally i don't support resting ur key players but becauase of this shcedule the strategy has merit...

rest the key players. if we win, they are rested. If we lose, everyone gets more time.

Rest Mushy please against the Afg. He has pain in his ribcage and we have many important matches coming up. We have already lost Tamim. Dont want to lose Mushy playing a meaningless match

The schedule is ridiculous, we have to travel and play a crucial second round game the next day if we finish top of the group. On one hand I would love to win vs Afghanistan and keep the winning streak but then we also need to think about our ultimate goal which is to win this cup.
