Default We Lost Because of Shakib Fail Hasan

Why we lost the match?

Summary = Shakib Al Hasan.

if you watched the second innings, you would know why we lost it..

Brave effort from Mushy and Sabbir dug in like a proper test player.

I have come out with some names of shakib five letter name initials.

S = Stupid
H = Horrible
A= Alien
K = Kid
I = Immature
B= Brainless

If Shakib stayed at the crease for 10-15 overs, we would have easily drawn this match. Rather he came in and started to attack, more so compared to the first innings. He was lucky in the first innings as he got dropped 3/4 times, and his approach was very uncomfortable to watch, taking risk. Mominul, Mushy and Sabbir played like a test match in the first inning, and the brave heart effort of mushy in second is absolute delight for a fan! You don't come in and start hitting everything out considering two players are literally out with injury. Now what kdpp about this?

Shakib batting in the second innings was the difference between a draw and a loss!

Also if you watched the match you will also see how pissed off the commentators were! They just couldn't understand why he did that.. he was our senior member that should have taken more responsibility not play in such a horrific manner.

Does it matter if a player scores 200 but doesn't know his role or responsibility in serious match situation like yesterday? He came in and we had like 98 overs still left to bat.. can anyone explain to me what was going inside his head? He knew mushy and Imrul was injured, and the more time he spent at the middle the better chance we had. No even the commentators didn't have a answer to why he played like that especially in that situation we're in!

It was a combo really. Not ONLY shakib's fault. Tamim, Mahmadullah, Mominul even Mehdi Hassan.

Shakib is well know for being irresponsible and as a senior player it is really disappointing. However I still think he is an overrated Test batsman.

I think time to phase out senior players slowly starting with Mahmadullah.

Couldn't agree with you more.

Yes he scored a double hundred and should be commended for that, but he has undone the good he did by playing in his usual reckless maner that he has continued doing for eternity.
Shakib is undoubtley a very talented ad exciting batsman who could have achieved so much more. He has won BD some matches single handed but has contributed to BD losing a lot more due to his immaturity and lack of common sense.

Partly Shakib. But don't forget the Homie Mahmudullah who has been silently going on about things (without any good contributions) in the side, acting like he hasn't done anything wrong. Soon, we start getting someone else in, Mossadekk or even Nurul. Some one who can last longer, it doesnt have to be a 100runs scored quick time, even 100 ball 30-40 at 4, that be great stay at the crease which would ensure not many lose pf wickets too early and quick into th match. Mahmudullah has not got the technique to last long. Just check his recent 10innings, show me anywhere he lasted over 100balls!!

Some fans have personal issues with Sakib.
Yes he got out in a idiotic way, and he is one of the culprit but without his 217 we would be humiliated by an innings defeat.
So , rakhen miya !

Yh i agree that some fans has personal issues with shakib cuz of typical bd mentality such as jealousy.

Having said all of that, there was no need for him to playing a shot to get out. There are players in the team who gets out to good ball and rare brainfart but players like tamim and shakib are just uradhura batsman. They are both very talented and can take any attacks apart but they always get out playing silly shot. They rarely play according to match situation when the country expects far more from their caliber.

Skakibs example is like scoring a hattrick in the first half and getting sent off in the start of second half, give opportunity to the opposition to make a comeback as we're already man down.. so does that Hatrick go in vain? Too me yes it does, we lost becuase he got sent off and allowed the other team to make a comeback!

And we are not humiliated after losing by breaking 122-year old world record?

No, we fought hard despite of Mushy and Imrul unable to play normally.
We have shown courage.
We are disappointed with the result but still we have a team which challenged NZ team throughout this match.
A team with a super inexperienced bowling attack.
So try to take some pride out of it if u can than feeling humiliated.

If Head Coach blames Shakib and seniors, it's the youngster fault. If some of us fans blame Shakib, we are jealous of his success and wealth. Shakib fans are like him! You can't blame him for breaking a 122 year history.

It's normal to be humiliated by innings and or a day or two than this ultra sad sad humiliation of breaking the 122 year old record.

But ofcause, just like our players most our fans are easily satisfied by an innings or some sort of effort shown/given by the shuuparrstarrs.

If this was from another nation batsmen. Say England or Aus, I'm sure media/fans on social sites would have ripped him apart, totally.

No two ways, no excuses for escape.
Why? What do you mean why? FFS..! 10 years of cricket, been there seen many a things, vastly experienced player, been around the world, batted for more than 250balls first innings. Then, he does this amateur act 2nd innings? Don't anyone dare to say it was malicious/wicked, out the top draw delivery, to that he got out. Because, you will only make a fool out of yourself, just like Shhuupastar Al Hasan.

Mahmdullah equally and more at fault. But Mahmudullah isn't star man, neither should he be in the side. Not making it seem ok Riyad failed, he is a loser we all know, and I want him booted out of the side. Sakib is the star player, end off. Star man, giving wicket away like that is unacceptable. He basically gave it away under no pressure whatsoever, under no great threat from great swing, seaming, rank turning deliveries ditched at him constantly or anything.

May Allah grant the blessings to the Bangladeshi players with basic fundamentals of cricket, especially understanding match situations. Ameen!
