Win toss, bat first. Post big score, bowl out SL twice. Win by an innings and a couple runs.

Go Tigerssssss!

Batting 1st will be the best since the pitch will most likely be flat. It will be easier to bowl in the 2nd innings. I'd be happy with 2 draws. With the bat, I am looking forward to see Mushfiqur. With the ball, I am looking to see Fizz of course. Fielding remains the biggest worry. Sri Lanka are still firm favourites. Don't forget, Bangladesh cannot even win away to Zimbabwe, so people who think they can win a test match away to Sri Lanka are a bit deluded.

Bismillah. InshAllah Bangladeshi will win. Go ahead Bangladeshi Tigers. Time has come to take a golden chance to win a test series in SL.

1) Tamim
2) Soumya (even though I want Kayes. Wait, is Kayes travelling? If he is then straight swap)
3) Mominul Haque
4) Mushyfiqur Rahim (capt)
5) Shakib Al Hasan (reason why I want Shakib at 5 because Shakib and Mushy bat well, and need them close to each other in the line up, since mushy is going to bat at 4)
6) Litton Das (Wkt)
7) Mohammad Mahmudullah (where he belongs, Yes I'd leave Sabbir and play Mullah, Sabbir Hasn't impressed me tbh, Mullah has more patience than sabbir who for me is too risky technically very vulnerable defensively especially against spin)
8) Mehedi Hasan Miraz
9) Kamrul Islam Rabbi
10) Subasish Roy Chowdhary
11) Mustafizur Rahman

12th Man- Mossadekk Hossain Saikat.

If that XI takes the field, SL U-19 team will beat it by an innings 500 runs inside 1 day.

Any chance they'll drop Miraz down the order to facilitate Rabbi?

Since Rabbi is not playing in the practice match, I am assuming he will not feature in the Test match either. Makes sense I guess, guy's record in the subcontinent is pretty poor so far.

Miraz just hit a 50 against the top 2 bowlers in the world on their turf. Give the kid a little time. He's barely 19 yo.

I don't understand why we are so defensive and go for draws. The mindset should always be to go for wins: it's what separates the top sides from the rest. I prefer if Bangladesh loses than draw test matches. It's good to see Fizz bowling very well in the first class matches at home along with that lone practice game in Sri Lanka: he seems to have found his groom. But during the IPL and since, he only seems to have been more economical rather than taking a cluster of wickets which is why he bowls along with Taskin. Fizz is more difficult to score off whereas Taskin always creates chances. Even if the pitch is flat, Fizz will be still difficult to face. If Sri Lanka has the guts, they would prepare pitches with grass or turn. Sri Lanka has everything to lose.

I don't prefer that.

1. We are only few points behind WI in test cricket. A draw gives us some points. A loss gives nothing. NZ 1st test. I want us at least to be 8th first. Before we can be #1.

2. If a team can draw tests consistently that means we have a batting lineup to occupy the crease as we please. The decision of going for the win should be made on the 15th session not at session one or two or before the test match begins.
