Default 4 pacers or Miraz

Title says it all.

Against India, should we keep the same team that we had against NZ (4 pacers) OR bring in Miraz in place of either Rubel/Taskin.

Coz frankly Mash/Fizz are automatic choice.

I say go with 4 pacers..Taskin and Rubel both bowled really well. Rubel has sort of become a death over specialist.

On the other hand, Indians are really good at spin. Don't see Miraz troubling them.

But with 4 pacers, batting line up will be a bit weak.

Four pacers. Our 8th batsman never won any match for us. So no point in playing Miraz considering his batting capabilities.

One potential downside of picking 4 pacers is, we may take 4 hours to complete the innings and Mashrafee may not get to play the final if we win

Miraz

With 3 lefties in the top 8 go with Miraz.

Also miraz is a handy bat if needed.

But more importantly who gets dropped? Taskin Rubel both performed against NZ

Also the point about winning combination.

I am sure team combo won't change but I feel miraz would be a great addition. Maybe in the future miraz will be good enough to be in the side as a batsman alone.

4 pacers specially if there's a chance of overcast conditions. Indians are known for being good against spin

I might swap Mehedi with mossadek unless mossadek bat's at 3

Lower down Mehedi is as good as him unless we need big hits which we won't with Sabbir playing where he belongs

4 pacers. Remember how we won the ODI series against India? because we employed 4 genuine fast bowlers. Pace bowling keeps India on alert, whereas spin allows them to settle. Miraz is overrated, and should've just stuck to tests – should've played in the Dhaka Premier League instead of Nasir. Mosaddek has done a far better job as a spin bowler in ODIs than Miraz, so he's not needed. 7 batsman is more than enough. Remember – against England where we still had 8 wickets in hand heading into the final 10 overs, and loaded our line-up full of batsman, yet it backfired.

At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter if can't win the toss and put them to bat. 200% chance there will rain interruption some point during the match.

I'd take 4 pacers. Winning combination boile kotha.

Mosaddek did fine in the last match.

Forecast is partly cloudy. Which means it should favor the pacers but unfortunately apart from Southee and Bolts first spell against Bangladesh ball has not be swinging that much this tournament according to commentators and various pundits.

I wouldn't pick Mehedi over Mosaddek. I am not too sure of Taskin as he bowled a lot of fullish deliveries, and Indian batsman will be ruthless against him. If management thinks he is ready then they should pick him

4 pacers it is i think unless management sees something else. Bangladesh must believe they can and should win. remember, this same team (minus nasir +mosaddek) beat India in 2015 at home. well, that was mostly Fizz but others definitely chipped in with both bat and bowl

Really good forecast has no bearing in English weather especially in JUNE. At the Edgbaston ground

2012 Eng vs Aus Abandon (4 July)
2013 Aus vs NZ Abandon (12 June)
2013 finals rain shortened match for 20 over piece. Ind won D/L method.
2017 Aus vs NZ Abandon (2 June)
2017 Pak vs SA (7 June - rain affected) SA lost
2017 Eng vs Aus (10 June - rain affected) Aus kicked out

I rest my case.

Your looking at games from three years ago??!? You dont live here, youre completely ignorant.

British weather isn't that bad,we just had an unusually wet June this year.

Matches in British soil have been affected the less than NZ, Aus, Carribean and South Asia when it comes ICC tournaments.

England and Wales - 20 matches out of 156 affected by rain (12.82%)
South Africa, Kenya and Zimbabwe - 10 matches out of 106 (9.43%)
India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh - 22 matches out of 254 (8.66%)
West Indies - 15 matches out of 78 (19.23%)
Aus and NZ - 16 matches out of 88 (18.18%)

https://www.reddit.com/r/Cricket/com...and_have_been/

People who **** on Britains weather annoy me, because South of England is actually not bad as People think and I will defend my country in this matter.

4 pacers all the way. I even said it b4 NZ match.

Only way we can win this is to contain Indian batting provided we bat well.

4 Pacers...
After Mash retires, we can go with Miraz in Mash's place... Or if he is suspended in the final than we can play miraz.

After mash retires I hope saifuddin and hider rony get further chances, saifuddin if nurtured can be the pace allrounder required, he looks pretty natural as a batsman so if he has good work ethic and wants to improve he'll do well.

this. when we score good runs its always our top 6..8 is just damage control. its not a test match, we dont need damage control here

besides miraz will be eaten alive by Indian batters

Save Miraz for tests.

And also, there will.not be a dramatic spinning wicket. You will have to beat India with pace.

Rbx, my brother, I hope you send those yorkers and crush some toes.
