Thank you Isam! What I have always said about BCB! useless deal makers! Not creative! No brains.

Mohammad Isam: To be honest, BCB isn’t the most diplomatic cricket board. They are not very strong in negotiating with other boards. Nowadays, you have to negotiate with other boards in order to arrange a bilateral series. With FTP (Future Tours Program) gone, there is no binding for the boards to schedule games with any team. To make yourself an attractive package, obviously you have to win first but at the same time, you have to sell that win. For example, when Bangladesh won against England last year, that was their opportunity to negotiate for an “A” team tour and also schedule another bilateral series with them. Unfortunately BCB was unable to grasp that opportunity. They did try to negotiate, but as I mentioned before, their negotiation skills are not the best. Back in the day, we had Saber Hossain Chowdhury and Ashraful Haque, who were the masters of negotiation.

Just wanted to create a seperate thread for this one. I know its a long read but I thought it had a lot of spices by Isam bhai. I appologize for the grammer and spelling errors. I was rushed to complete it and I was hoping Nasif bhai or Zeeshan bhai would take care of that

Want to thank everyone for the questions and apologize if I couldn't take yours. If you guys have any questions let me know and would love to discuss some of those issues here now we know what the expert thinks/knows!

Ideally you play a number 3 at number 3 but what if no one is good enough? Only number 3 that hasn't been tried is shanto and even he has been moved down the order from time to time in domestic matches.

Ultimately it is the Coach's and Captain's heads. So they are to make the decision on the best #3 we have. Sabbir's aggressiveness is fine. It is the concentration level that lapses.

With Sarkar, he is just too aggressive. Borderline Ashrafulisk. "All balls are four and six balls if the right shot is being played." This shows disrespect to the bowlers, groundsmen (pitches), opponent captain (Tactics and field placing).
