Seem like we Aussies love to build a fortress of excuses when a loss is on the cards. I thought the incident was not worth looking at twice.

Shakib rubs his hands on the dirt all the time. What's the big deal?

Under Law 42, subsection 3 of the Laws of Cricket, the ball may be polished without the use of an artificial substance, may be dried with a towel if it is wet, and have mud removed from it under supervision; all other actions which alter the condition of the ball are illegal. These are usually taken to include rubbing the ball on the ground, scuffing with a fingernail or other sharp object, or tampering with the seam of the ball.[1]

Says so in fineprint, will be lucky if he gets away with this.

Not conclusive IMHO - have to watch in real time...

This is an animated video - one shot streaming multiple times...

Will hold my comment until I see the full sequence...

Either he's just gathering the ball, or he's gathering the ball to rub it in the dirt, which would be tampering. Why doesn't the video continue and actually show us? Seems like sour grapes from an Aussie fan.

As to what Yank and Kalpurush are saying Twitter doesn't allow videos that exceed over 30 seconds in lenght, and videos must be 15MB in size, so I guess that's why.

So a moment like this wasn't replayed on TV? Something is fishy here. Why only Fox Sports?

No, it was shown on TV, but not by Willow's broadcast. Fox Sports broadcasted this.

So how did Willow missed it?

Are there different commentators or something?
