Default Once Upon A time!

I was just remembering those historic golden days when we had a T20 bowler who actually made it to the top 10 chart. His name was Al Amin Hossain. Pitty he retired at the age of 48 and replaced by new promising, exciting talents like Shafiul Islam and Taskin Ahmed took over and went All In... good old days

We also had Shahid

To sum up, we have a lot of players who are ignored by selectors. I smell ghush big time.

Ah! What a shame. AlaMin forced out because of disciplinary reasons apparently.

So was Nasir.. but he was brought back.. I don't see why the same can't be applied to Al Amin

small sample to judge him off. how many games he played in total? He has a hundred at 10. liked to see if anyone else can beat that... Atleast he gives a better batting option which your men Shafiul, Taskin dont .. I'd take Abul over Shafiul anyday.

Nasir is well liked by senior cricketers, journos, and his FB fan base. Like we have seen recently, even the team manager will cover for him if breaks team rules. None of those applies to AA.

I thought Papon had an axe to grind with him. We had a bunch of people moaning for Nasir's return as if he was the second coming because he scored runs in our domestic (lol) and blamed Papon from blocking his comeback

Once Upon a time!

Abu Hider took wickets for fun in BPL, but after 1 match against Zimbabwe he was discarded.

Coach had an issue with Nasir, not Papon. And that was for his effort level in practice followed with his decline performance on games. Papon said some negative things about him in public, but that was based on what feedback he heard from Coach and BCB management. As far as I know, he Papon has no personal dislike of Nasir. That's why he came back.

Unlike Nasir, Al-Amin did mortal sin that includes disrespect to BCB managment and senior players and it involved trying to hook up with a bookie. Nasir's sins are more venial sins and are pardonable.

What your source on the Al Amin issue? because what I heard about Al Amin was from the best source one could come up with and what you are saying is completely different
