Tamim ousted from Vice captaincy.

Mahmudullah new VC.

Oh Tamim why did you criticise the Dhaka wicket??? Why man???
The timing was so wrong!!!

Mahmudullah lost out the T20 captaincy to Shakib due to bad behaviour!!!
Tamim should have learned how to kiss BCB’s hand, be in the good books..

why is Mullah VC? his place in the test team isn't even sure.

Mullah should have been the T20 captain

Hope this doesn't affect shakibs game, riyad as vice, now that's an interesting one since his spot in the xi isn't even assured

Yea dunno why Riyad is vice. But if he performs he could takeover Shakib who I think will end up fighting with BCB very soon...

One idiot, replaces another. Shakib cannot even control himself (testicle scratching incident, screaming obscenities at the umpire in the name of passion) and he is the test captain.

I guess Tamim Iqbal is just there to look pretty. He is arguably the best test batsmen in the side. Why does he not get a leadership role. Yet idiots like Mullah who struggle to keep a place and that bumbling man Shakib waltzs into the side like their dad owns the cricket team.

Top be a test captain you need to be a leader, who can lead on and off the field. Tamim Iqbal has those qualities. He is all class and his sixteens of cricket has transitioned him to be such an elegant and composed player. Look at his post match interviews, he isn't bouncing around like that fool Shakib.

I don't want Shakib to be the face of our cricket. Hopefully sanity prevails.

I think it's a good move. Shakib has been the best performer in tests, and no one comes close to him. We don't play that many tests anyway, so it shouldn't be a problem for him. BCB are clearly looking for him to be as captain for the next 5 years. I think it's a great move, but Mahmudullah shouldn't be playing tests in think. Looks like Mushfiqur will play as a specialist batsman at #3 or #4. Liton will take the gloves. Imrul might return back to partner Tamim as Sarker sets to be axed. Our top and middle order will finally look strong in tests. We'd be really tough to beat at home for most sides, but still will struggle away from home unless we can produce solid bowlers. I would still like to see someone new come into the test side; someone that has been performing well in the first class competitions. We need specialists. I hope they don't use Taskin for tests anymore; we need him for limited overs.

With Riyad set to be a regular .. the squad should look something like this

Tamim
Kayes
Momin
Mushy
Shakib (c)
Riyad (vc)
Liton (wk)
Miraz
Taijul
Roy
Fizz

Effectively killing Soumya and Sabbir... Thank God!

I'd bring Mushi before Momin. Riyad/Liton before Shakib.

My only issue is with the added responsibility, will he act like crazy Shakib (T20 in test) or the one that can guide to exceptional heights (double century innings type). I have no problem him getting out in a good ball while in single or double digit. As long as he doesn't act irresponsible I am fine.

Which ever way he acts, THE WHOLE TEAM WILL ACT LIKE THAT.
