By the way, if you average less than 10 in a whole year, in any format, and playing as a batsman; you should be KICKED OUT from that format. Very simple. Non-performers have no room in the team.

Whoa. Imrul Kayes narrowly missed that out.

Rubel leak runs...but still has a better SR than Fizz in T20s.

What's more important in T20s?

Best players for Bangladesh this year have been Shakib, Mushfiqur and Tamim. It was yet another year for seniors. The new guns have all been a let-down.

Mahmadullah the "FAB FIVE" senior below both SS and Sabbir, yet its those two fans have lost patience for. The average BD fan is an idiot, and Mullah has allowed that stupidity to prolong his career. All hail our vice captain.

That's harsh! Don't think even Riyad's die hard fans wanted him to be the Test VC. Both Mushfiq and Tamim confronted Hathuru during SA tour, thus ended up in Papon's bad book. As far I understand, opinions of fans/media had little to do with how Shak-Riyad became Capt-VC.

I'm not saying that the fans made him VC. But it is the fans that have elevated him to fab five and seniority status, thus enbling him to avoid any criticism. It's the fans and so called journalists that went all ape sh*t when Mullah was dropped during the SL series.

Face it, the average BD fan doesn't go by stats, they go by emotion and bhai bhai mentality. They accept mullah as a fab five because he's there. Even in this forum, where the average members have some cricket knowledge, the love for Mullah is inexplicable.

If the fans, and therefore the journalists/media, weren't so idiotic, they would have held players accountable, forcing BCB's hand a long time ago. And Mullah would have never been in the position to become VC of a test team with 1 century to his name.

To be fair, I think it has to more to do with recent performance that drives us fans crazy and knees weak when we see him. I mean he delivered against NZ win in Champions Trophy didn't he? lol... that's all it counts man.
