Default Cricinfo FTP article update: Bangladesh is 'high value' opponent for Pakistan

According to Pakistan correspondent Osman Samiuddin and assuming no errors...

As many of us have guessed NZ, WI, are middle value teams and SL are low value. I'm sure same for the BCCI as well.

This means that PAK not hosting us in UAE is purely political crookedness, not because PCB cant afford to host us in UAE. IND not giving us a full tour is not because we would get 'meal allowances only'. Same for England.

BCB should use this article to force PCB to host us in the UAE even if other teams start touring PAK.

Hard to believe a single article from a sports journalism site can be used as a means of negotiation.

Sounds like something PCB would do.

I'm one of the most sensible posters there.

It's not the writer of the article that claims Bangladesh is a "high-value" opponent. It's the PCB themselves. The author is simply reporting what PCB revealed to him, i.e. that half of Pakystan's matches will be against high-value opponents, including Bangladesh.

Could you please link the article?

Exactly. PCB are incriminating themselves vis a vis BCB. Still trying to extort us. It's good to see the present BCB won't budge.

Absolutely. I don't care if we never play a bilateral with Pak. I do not want us to give into PCB's dadagiri.

As popular as cricket is in Bangladesh, anyone we play is high value for us. Even ZIM or Ireland.

I don't understand why in every FTP we are scheduled to play multiple series with behaya PCB when they clearly have problems playing against us. Give us a home series vs England...we'd make money, and beat the Pommies too.

Doesn't ring any bells unfortunately, I rarely visit that site. There is a BD poster there MMHS who seems really eloquent and posses quite an in depth knowledge about the game, always wanted to know if he is someone from this forum.

Overrated. Just types long posts and people just buy into it. No real substance at all.

Executioner is a regular member here at BC. Wont disclose his ID without his permission. I know him personally though.

I don't follow any other cricket forum. But I bet anyone with a sharp eye would eventually figure out which posters in other forums were also members here. It's hard to mask how one types, certain nuances, vocabulary, etc...not to mention POV on cricket in general. It would take some time, but if you are regular member, I'm sure you can figure it out.

A flicker of dirty thought passed by me when I read the word POV. Sad... what a lonely life I must lead.

There should be a limit to all these off topic posts.
