@bujhee kom thanks 4 the welcome. I don’t think zeeshan is from Sunset Blvd tho. Too introspective, catches subtleties quickly, has a hue of restraint.. suburban perhaps? Very Orange County qualities.

Austin 3:16 however, has a very dry wit. Like chalk meets Sauvignon Blanc. Now that’s a guy I like to invite over, play some Huey Lewis and the News, spread some newspapers on the floor, stand behind him mumbling something about Stuart Binny.

Damn, Ringo! You are an amazing man!
Whispering behind his ears with his hands tied behind his back, your lips faintly touching the ear-lobe?
Playing do you believe in loove in low volume?
He may go poo poo due to a fear-filled ecstatic sensation.
Thank God for the Newspaper on the floor.

Hi Magician Sir,

I want to tell you something which I hope you will consider. I want to tell you about being self critical. If you practice this, you become apathetic to other criticisms, because you are always asking yourself how you can improve, instead of looking at who is saying what about you. You also become more individualistic and do not blame the system for your failures, which is a great bonus for sure.

I have a theory here. Which is most of Bd acted the wrong way when Sehwag said Bd was an avg team. We were, we are. We can improve, and that is exciting. Nothing more rewarding than getting from point A to B. Because it matters greatly from where you start. But when we are so concerned about who hurts our pride, who shames us, who belittles us, we forget that we can improve!

So my sincere request to you good sir, is to worry about us only. We have miles to go. We can get there if we work hard. We won't get there by worrying about reputation, we will get there by the content of our character. If you wouldn't mind I want to share one of my favorite quotes with you from the late great legendary basketball coach, John Wooden.

"Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are." John Wooden

Hey I'm an Afghan fan (and a Nepal fan too). They are favorites to win this tournament. And I hope they make it because they would bring more value to the WC than having ZIM or Scotland in the WC. But arguing that a team which has done all the following is going to win a WC before BD is downright retarded. Consider the following:

Afghans still don't know which end of the bat to hold.
Highest ranked team beaten is BD.
Lost their last series against Ireland, that too in Asian conditions.
Still loses to teams like Nepal, UAE, Scotland but will win the WC.

So your homework assigment is to show how they are any different to BD who still loses to teams like SL.

the qus was which team will win the WC first BD or AFG..the question didn't specify any time limit. so afgans losing to lower rank teams and not winning against big teams doesn't matter. lot can happen in 20 years.

Since the qus was regarding only two teams its a valid question. I said it in this thread before and I am saying it again. We are not winning a WC in any of the current forum member's lifetime. considering we have teenagers here I would say we will not win the WC in next 70 years.

Afg will win it within next 20

This would never happen. Coz the Proteas are never making it into a final.

Based on what? 4 series wins against Zimbabwe?

I am sure in the next 20 years Bangladesh can also get 4 series wins against Zimbabwe. I am sure in the 20 years Bangladesh can also get a spin based bowling attack. I am sure in 20 years we can also get batsman who collapse at every single game they play. Right now we are only collapsing every other game.

people are giving afg too much kudos for being big fish in a small pond, that too swimming at the shallow end of the pool.

bangladesh were thrust into the deep end and that too pre-matuarely.

afg would get their a$$ royally handed to them by a big team...they just talk big and we bangladeshies take that as some sort of strength and confidence blahablah..

They beat WI away twice. This team is here to stay, they mean business, Rashid Khan is ranked no.1 T20 bowler and No.2 ODI bowler. In the history of our cricket, no player has ever achieved that.

Plus they beat us twice at home. Not to mention they almost had England in tatters in the last t20 world cup 7-85 I remember.

Afg are capable of two extremes. On certain days they ll be brilliant, and then some cases they ll capitulate. There is a case of overconfidence. Thats what Simmons had to say in the recent interview-they often become too relaxed, eg how they lost to Ireland

Yeah, I agree with all of you.
At the end of the day Bhai sabeebs...
it is always Curry vs. Kebab,
Bhaat vs. Roti
Lungi vs. Kabuli Dress
Ganja vs. Opium
Nakshal vs. Taliban

Or Mini vs. Kabuliwala
Mini, tum Sasur-bari jabe? Mr. Kabuliwala ap Mazar-e Sharif jabe?

I say neither EVER will!
Unless, the cup was made of Tin in Kandahar or Jinjira.

Rashid has bowled mostly on helpful surfaces against ZIM batting lineup. Razzak, Shakib, even Mash have similar bowling averages vs ZIM as well.

WI don't have a strong record at home in recent years. In fact, they probably haven't even won a series at home since the last WC.

shakib has been ranked number 1 in ODI, Number 4 in T20 and Number 7 in tests before in bowler ranking, not to mention being number 1 in AR ranking in all formats.

Ranking not always shows the true story tbh. Rashid khan is yet to play an ODI Against (Aus,SA,Ind,NZ,Eng,Pak,SL)..that number 1 ranking is overrated
