Nannu is the biggest joke in our cricket.

According to him, Imrul is a good player of pace bowling as he opens in test matches. And Sabbir is the highest T20 scorer in last one year!

Lost my words. Such an idiot.

You can't stop SchoeJoan from barging into the plane! Even if not coach, he is the honorable team manager! Even if not the team manager, he is in the esteemed BCB board of directors club! Yes. He is coming into the plane no matter what. If the plane leaves without SchoeJoan, it will be an international incident!

This selection is a circus.

Looks like Shakib injury not only reduce a player also the brain functions of entire BCB halts.

There is not one player, not even a combination of players who can fill up the vacuum for Shakib.

Choose Ash, he is the closest in terms of leadership, inconsistency, batting and fielding. Bowling below par but at times handy.

Absolutely right you are, One World uncle. I totally agree.
Without Shakib, we have almost ZERO chance of winning any match.
Shakib had been the most vital elements in most of our past matches that we won. Shakib's sheer presence and spirit in the playing 11 make some of our top players also click. May be not always, but, it happened a lot of times but it is absolutely noticeable.

Tamim, Shakib and Mushfiquer together - Are THE Trio of No Fear.

Mushy and Tamim are not leaders. We can win games without either of them. But Shakib always was and always will be a class apart.

Dear BK Bhai,

Please do not call me uncle, it is odd because from your posts in Kathgora and other FC threads, it is much clear that I am way younger than you .

On topic, do you want Ash back as an X factor for the team?

Thanks.

How do you expect to do well in T20i's when none of our batsman has either 30+ avg or 150+ S/R. Sabbir has the highest avg of 26.6 and Soumya has the best SR of 129.1. None of the bowlers can contribute either.

Looking at the stats, none of the players should be in T20i squad except Shakib & Fizz. And we won't have Shakib. Nazmul and Rony should play. And inclusion of Soumya & Sabbir perhaps makes some sense.

BAN should play couple of young talents despite their failure. It's not like the seniors will be able to win with that track record. But we could develop some T20 players from which we may find some for ODI's as well.

All that is needed is self belief. We almost beat a full strength India team in the t20 WC before Mushfiq and Ryad choked. That game we had a tremendous opportunity and lost by 1 run. So it is possible even with a team like this to compete with the best in the business.

Thank you R0ssei bro for uploading this table on the records of the players in this squad that is going to participate in the tri-series.

From what we can clearly see, Imrul Kayes is NOT a T20 player, in any universe. That record is beyond atrocious. If only the selectors and coaches can see this. I see many other in the table, but I am highlighting Kayes' record in the more general case of illogical selections.

With that being said, I hope that if and when gets to wield his blade in the series, he somehow manage to get that average over double figures: that is almost comparable to Rubel's bowling average in tests.

No man should go to bed every night knowing that as a primary batsman that his average is below 10.

So, Kayes..take the initiative; instead of grabbing the bull by its horns... try the balls

Just realized Imrul is in the squad.

I will not be watching this tri-series. Cannot support a team that continues to have a single-digit averaging, absolutely worthless PASSENGER. Pathetic!

Shakib's injury looks serious, I am regretting my previous thread about him now.

Why are they not cancelling this series? Aren't most of the Bangladeshi players Muslim?

No it doesn't make sense. Communal violence is nothing new in the subcontinent.

Pakistan is literally blasting away churches and temples. Straight up kidnapping Hindu women. Wonder why Firebreaker doesn't post about that?

Indian mob killed a Muslim for eating beef. Arrested others for celebrating Pak win. Should we never play them either? Less said about BD's own communal violence, the better.
