Zim vs AFG is down to the wire. Wish they streamed it.

Also, Rashid Khan is the captain!

According to cricinfo, both the HK vs SCOT and the Zim vs AFG match took place in Bulawayo on the same day. How is that possible? Can anyone explain that to me?

Top 3 teams from each group qualifies for the super six. AFG has still got 2 games left against Hong Kong and Nepal. If they can manage to win these games they will go through to the super six as the third team. At the moment, beating HKG and NEP wont be a difficult task for AFG.

Yea, I don't think we would have made it. Scotland gave us alot of trouble in 2015 WC and they look even better now. Ireland, WI, Zim all look solid.

No way to tell for sure.

They most likely have only 3 Super 6 games left against the group A teams. They have to beat WI, IRE, and NED, which they are capable of.

Also AFG's NRR is -0.09 or so, which is a very good run rate for a team with no wins. One big win and they will have a decent positive run rate.

The Afghans need WI, IRE, and ZIM to all lose 2 games and then need to pass 2 of them on NRR.

Its very possible to qualify, but also looks very tough just with the math involved.

Right now its basically a 3 horse race between WI, IRE, and ZIM.
