WI squad announced
Ridley Jacobs (captain), Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Pedro Collins, Corey Collymore, Mervyn Dillon, Vasbert Drakes, Daren Ganga, Chris Gayle, Wavell Hinds, Jermaine Lawson, Mahendra Nagamootoo, Daren Powell, Ricardo Powell, Marlon Samuels and Ramnaresh Sarwan.
This squad is for both ODI and tests. Young Darren Powell has been picked ahead of Cuffy cause of his raw pace according to the selectors, and Ganga is replacing Hooper.

3-0 and 2-0 is my prediction.
I would however like to see a good fight in the ODIs and HOPEFULLY a draw in one of the tests.
Must Chris Gayle play ? Dhaka is a terrible place infested with mosquitos. Can someone convince him to stay home ?

Those predictions must have taken a while for you to come up with Rusho bhai. Haha. If Gayle is bad, we have Hayden coming up in 7 months time. As for convincing him to stay at home, we have Dengue problems. The plague worked to keep Lara away from India a few years back, maybe Dengue will do the trick for us.

(Sham you should not joke with Dengue - because it is a moron baidhi - not like Lara).
Last time we played against Kenya and Zimbabwe right before the world cup. They were good games for us - that forced us to be confident yet humiliated.
This time around, it is the West Indies - a tougher challenge - but it is good for us that West Indies has strengthened since we met them the last time - in 1999 during the 2 match one day series at home. Thus, it is justified for us.
Because if we had faced a weaker West Indies side now, then our preparation would have been hampered; since we are a test playing country now, so we must be ready for facing the tougher challenge.
Just remember, in the world cup, we are not facing weak teams - in some terms, even Canada is going to be a strong team - considering our own technical flaws on fast pitches.

Chanderpaul & Nagamootoo
Why forget them ?
By the way, does any of the Indies players have any kind of morbid past ? We can use it to deny visa (WIFAN - kididng). That way, we make it look like we are not being partial (read - AFRAID) and we are only doing this for safety reasons.
Fahmida - Good to have you back.
