Chaminda Vaas is considered an All-Rounder in the game.

1 more hour to go, then I will release the fixtures.

Sad that only two members joined.
So 8 teams will be randomly picked

Our first match of the tournament has been completed...

Manager, Tigers_eye's Australia taking on England. It was a nailbiter:

Australia batted 1st and all of their top order batsmen got starts but couldn't carry on. They end up with 258 for the loss of 9 wickets, with Shane Watson hitting an unbeaten run-a-ball 69...

England in reply were circumspect in their attempt at chasing the target. Trescothick and Bairstow added 44 for the first wicket. They were ahead of Australia at that stage, but Mitchell Starc had other plans:

Partnerships:

Australia beat England by 11 runs; Man of the match: Mitchell Starc
POINTS:
AUSTRALIA- 4
ENGLAND- 0

I will post few more teams since no one is interested.

I'd take NZ, ZIM, SA, and Pak. The rest you fill it up. Ind should be very strong team.

Okay T_E, when ready post the squads. I will see if those players are available in the database.

I kinda like this England that I just randomly picked. Trescothick and Bairstow up the order is a good duo..

NZ:
Guptil
McCullum (wk)
Fleming (C)
Williamson
Taylor
N Astle
J Oram
Vettori
Boult
Southee
Bond

12. S Styris

These two greats played before 2000. Their stats are not in the system, is it?

M Crowe
Hadlee

Pak:
S Anwar
Mo Yusuf
Inzamam
Sarfaraz Khan (wk)
Misbah (C)
A Razzaq
Afridi
Wasim
S Mushtaq
Waqar
Shoaib Akthar

12. Y Khan

Who do you replace with Babar Azam? 54 average? Can't. Without Imran, Miandad (cutoff date) this is a solid team. Best bowling lineup.

Zim:
H Masakadza
A Flower (C)
G Flower
B Taylor (wk)
A Campbell
S Raza
H Streak
Chigumbura
Utesa
Creamer
Chatara

12. R Price

Pace attack is very weak. Lots of spinning option between G Flower, Raza, Utesa and Creamer. Let the pitch be a turner.

Match #2:

New Zealand batted first and their top order found India's opening bowlers, Kumar and Khan to be too hot to handle...until Ross came in and walloped a century:

India's star-studded batting lineup faced the wrath of one, Bond...Shane Bond:

New Zealand beat India by 54 runs; man of the match: Ross Taylor

POINTS:
New Zealand-> 4
India -> 0

2000 on wards. That is what I thought about this century. Hadlee retired on last century. I got married in last century.

MATCH #3:

Yankee''s SL team with a good opening game:
3 half centuries from 3 different types of batsmen. Sanga and Mahela failed to deliver against one of the opponents whom they made 624 12years ago.

Double blow*** in the first over, SA never recovered. Zulu Klusener had to fling willow at the end:

***the sim showed that Vaas bowled the first over, when it was actually Malinga.

Sri Lanka win by 119 runs; Man of the match: Tillakaratne Dilshan

POINTS:

SL-> 4
SA-> 0

Steyn must have felt bad to miss out on being in the final eleven. South Africa desperately needed some venom in their bowling
