Official CricInfo bashing thread
'It wasn't India who won it, but rather UAEs inexperience did them in'
'Nearly. Oh-so-nearly. UAE could have won this, their first game in international cricket after eight years.'
Now Your turn.............Bash on!

I would say that I like their main page heading:
Bangladesh outclass Hong Kong
Other than that everything else seems biased. The very start of the article Nearly, oh so nearly... is enough to expose how biased this writer is.

ya thats wht i was wondering about also..
that the headline and the body is in sharp contrast!!
i think they put that headline just by mistake!!... coz it givs so much credits to the BD team... wihch obviously they dont want.
but hei.. just one question:
crickinfo is just another site like 'Banglacricket'.. only that they got bit more money and few more ppl watching it.
so if we talk about crickinfo here.... will just be website vs website... and i think that will be giving that rubbish site too much importance..!!
why dont we just ignore these kind of useless Indian sites??

Golden day for Indian Cricket
After scoring a mammoth 260, India bundled out the mighty UAE for only 144! Against some hostile UAE bowling, India's top order played exceptionally well and raced to 65 within the first 17 overs, loosing only 3 wickets.
The reknowned UAE batting had no answer to India's spirited bowling!

"Repeatedly shuffling across the stumps, their batsmen were sitting ducks for Irfan Pathan and Lakshmipathy Balaji, who kept swinging the ball into the batsmen and trapping them in front."
the thing is...we got hong kong out for a lesser score. but it wasn't our bowling, it was hong kong's "inexerperience that did them in"...
just had to share..

I like this one;
"The script went wrong for the Indians at the very start – Sehwag flicked the third ball to leg, started off for a single, then saw Tendulkar stop after initially committing to the run. Sehwag out for 0, 200 short of his projected score; "

Some other info:
- First of all, when I say Indian, I mean indian sports writers and personalities, NOT your average/regular indians.
- UAE batsmen were incompetent while the HK batsmen were only inexperienced. (By the way, HK is captained by Rahul Sharma - no points for guessing where he is from)
- India won comfortably and won bonus point. HK was so close to winning and NO MENTION of our bonus points.
- The Indians hadn't played international cricket for three months, and it showed. I am sorry, weren't they playing against UAE ? I don't think you need too much to to beat UAE.
- the trio of Indian seamers had just too much firepower for a batting line-up which was woefully out of their depth. (well, india FINALLY has some real bowlers so I won't argue that one)
- Ganguly scored a 50, wooohoooo. It only took him 102 balls against a team who hasn't played an ODI in 8 years. He only managed 2 fours. This is the guy who wants to see two tier in cricket ? Struggling for form and fluency, Ganguly repeatedly groped for the ball early on, and the ball repeatedly sneaked past outside edge and inside edge, or rapped him on the pads. By the way, his 50 came in after the HK fielders had already dropped him - TWICE.
- S Rajesh is far more realistic then Rahul Bhatia. Bhatia needs to get off off the weed he is smoking.
- UAE were 45 fr 6 but managed to reach 144.

From the ciricindo bulletin during the current BD v Pak match:
" With the depth in batting that Pakistan boast a total of close to 300 is very much on the cards."

If you have a quick look at scorecard, it clearly tells you the story:
Extras (b 8, lb 1, w 21, nb 4) 34
I call it poor wayward bowling, Mr. S Rajesh.
