Who in your opinion will not be lost as Bd cricket devlops
You see, like bubble in water we are getting many new faces in cricket. It hurts, because some of them will be lost as time passes. But, which players do u think will not be lost as time passes. In my opinion, the following players will not be lost, Insh Allah.
1. Rajin Saleh
2. Rajjak Raj
3. Taposh Boyso
4. Rana
5. Mashrafee (if he stays well, Insh Allah)
About Ash, I'm not sure yet. Because he seems to me the most inconsistent player right after Alok. If Ash is lost, may be he will be remembered as only the youngest centurian and Alok as the first Bangladeshi 3 wicket taker, whatever you call that.

Masri and Shahadat will stay for quite some time. Tapash will have hard time when real pacers are back in the team. Razzak, Rajin, Rana will be there also. About Alok I am not too sure. Ash will be there.

keepers
i will really miss tapash if he is "lost"
i think ash will stay...even if he struggles for a while to come (hes gotten his act together in test matches) he will be kept since he is our most talented batsman.
here are the guys that i think will be keepers who will be in our test/ODI squads even 10 years from now:
nafis iqbal - could be the next ash
manjural islam rana - a true all-rounder
ashraful - a huge talent
rajin - solid batsman
faisal - good hitting batsmen
mashrafee - genuine quick
shahadat - could be faster than masri
mushfiq - economical bowler, all-rounder
razzaq raj - great spinner
enamul jr - same as raj
dhiman gosh - dont know much about him
as i said, i hope tapash can be added to this list, and other players will inevitably come along to be added as well.

I didn't want to participate here in the first place because personally I hold some rather philosophical old fashioned views about this topic. Now that you asked, I'll spill out a little.
From Raqibul Hassan to Bulbul, Hira to Pilot, even the new Razzak, each of them contributed and continue to contribute one way or another to advance out cricket culture. Tomorrow or day after tomorrow, we might have a Shachin or a Ponting or a Wasim, but we will eternally be thankful to, say, Hannan who had real hard time to face even the first ball, as he inspired many youngsters through his performance against the Aussies. How could we forget the contributions of Mahmud, or Shanto or Opee or Akram? Just name them and you will find the cornerstone of Bangladesh cricket was laid down by their own hands.
One day we might go on to win the World Cup or even top the ICC rank, but the people like Mashrafe, Bashar, Prince, Dr. Misha, Suru, Lipu, Doulot, Faruk, Tamim, Yousuf Babu, at el will still be regarded as the fore-runner of our cricket let alone be lost.
