Khalid Mahmud is in twice
firstly, as Sujon
then as Chacha
I know he is an "all-rounder" but, surely, there is a mistake.

interesting choice in selections..and its really good to see Nafis Iqbal being in the squad...
as predicted Alok and Faisal...omitted...lets hope this can help them to focus on thier weak areas and not deter them from the game.

This group of selectors are sensible in selecting squads from the begining. However, results remain same unfortunately. Hope from champions trophy, we will start showing some fight! I am not expecting any upset as we did in Asia cup... show some fight we will be happy ... I am expecting good performance from Aftab ...

now these selected playerrs should have a boot camp
as they have been "chosen" they have to prove themselves for this selection...there should be a boot camp right away playing with the best of all the BD players for practices...without performances selected players don't mean anything.

I posted the list from Prothom Alo. I guess they made mistake. Tapash's name isn't there on the final list of players.

That is the right squad for the champions Trophy. I think it is the best. And I am happy that Rifique is included.

New ODI Squad
I wonder if someone can educate me about how the BCB selectors found Nazmul Hossain to be better bowler than Shahadat Hossain Rajib. I was under the impression that Rajib is our next Mashrafee.

i still have this impression. but,.... how should i say this...... rajib is an uncut diamond. all he needs is the right hand who will give him the right shape. fortunately, i belive he is in right hand. unfortunately for us, this process of giving him a shape has not ended yet.
all a realy fast bowler need is raw pace. the rest can be tought, learned and practiced. shahadat has the pace, rest will come with time. rushing him will only cause a thrown away talent due to bad form or injury. u decide what u want.

coach mcinnes can comment on how good nazmul hossain is or isn't, his stats are certainly not mind blowing. Nadif chowdhury has been consistently good ini england, but his problem is he is a SLA, and we already have too many of those. And don't forget Enamul Jr who for whatever reason is a "test" candidate. Now, he's supposed to be a real spin bowler, and he can't even get into the team (yet).
