Basher is injured .. again
Bad luck for Basher and Bangladesh. BDkhela reported Basher will not be available for 3rd ODI. He may miss the India's tour too.

No problem!!!!
Bashar is not effective in ODI matches!!!!!
Mushfique Babu could play instead of him as an allrounder(some times).

no, we need another batsmen not mushfiq. get somebody from the corporate league or something. Pure batsmen, may be Bidyut. He played well there. Have him and JO open, Nafees 1st down, rajin, ash, aftab.

but we need bashar for moral reason. without him the team acts like a kid who can't find his mother. not that he is very effective in any way.
then, the indian series. we sure do need him for the test matches.

I think selectors should try Faisal . He did not get enough chance I guess. As we already have 5 bowlers in Taposh, Nazmul, Aftab, Rafique, and Rana we do not need another allrounder like Chacha or Mushfiq. We better take a batsman (only by name).

I think they already picked pathetic Alok, according to Daily Star today. Pilot will lead the team.

If I were at the stadium, I would rant "SHAMS", "SHAMS", "SHAMS" (i.e. Shamsur Rahman). If Nazmul can show the maturity, I bet Shamsur can too. At least he deserves a fair chance. I think he will play well and without any pressure.

Alok again...man this guy has some luck. I dont know why batsman like Bidyut/Rokon cannot get chance like Alok. I'd take hannan than Alok now cause I havent seen him score any runs on the 20/20 yet.
Dang selectors.

I guess MOSH-FEk is Better than alok, hanna and dekence.
or, yes better to not take anyone. 10 vs. 11 will be a good game.

Patience - we all need. I'll let Shams and Shahriar Nafees play domestic cricket and A team matches this season and assess them prior to BD's tour of England 2005. Subject to their maturity and temperament, they will be included. We should not forget that the current bunch (Ash, Rajin, Nafiz) were as talented as them, but still need more maturity to cope with International cricket. Like Pilot said after 1st test, all players should learn how to score big 100s/double ton in domestic cricket to give the impression that they can repeat te feat in the highest level too. If they can't score a double ton in the domestic cricket , i would not expect them to score a ton in A team matches and they will end up scoring 10s & 20s in international matches.
Only some 30s/40s in practice match (against senior team) should not be enough to be considered for the national team. We have one too many players in the team who can score occasional 20s, 30s , 40s. We dont need to add more in the list. Make no mistake, Shams and Shahriar nafees, who is a left hander too, both have talent to be selected for national team, but i guess only talent should not be the only criteria for selection - maturity, mental toughness and understanding of the game are other vital issues too, which are missing in the current team, and our selectors should learn from their past mistakes. Let them show us what they are made of, stage by stage.

this is whats gonna happen. Alok will hit couple of boundaries and will throw his wicket away. Why him? And if you have to pick between Chacha and Mushfiq Chacha is definitely a better option
