It is premature to say he is in good form. But it was a good score nonetheless. 42 (55) seems like a relatively slow scoring rate. I guess since GP were chasing a small target, they tried to play it safe. Very good job bourny3 for compiling the scores.

No offense to the proponents of 20/20 cricket but this reminds me of Nirman School Cricket we used to play in the late 80's. We used to play in Dhanmondi cricket ground (wonder when it became a stadium) 30 overs a side. Just 10 overs short though in 20/20. Just gives me the notion of comparing this corporate league to school cricket. Big guys should play the long haul versions of the match. At the least 50 overs.

Im not sure Mueid. Enamul Haque got in the scores in that innings as well.
Enamul Haque not out 18, extras 5, and Enamul Haque 4/9.

I would have thought that some of the scores would have been a lot higher than they seem to be in this competition.

I think there were a few more games played than this so if anyone can find some scores that would be great.

Shahriar is still in good form. Whats wrong with selector, why dont they call him again,he is only 28 and dicleared for retirement very early. He can easily solve our opening problem. He is experienced, talented, senior and now in good form.

can they also manage to get feed back from players in terms of how they find this new format of cricket and if they think it is a positive move in relation to helping become better batsmen.

not too many big scores...shows our inability to hit big against all kinds of opponents...

the highest score was probably 171, where Al Shariar scored 83...most of the time, whenever a Bangladeshi team scored exceptionally high in any form of the game, Al Shariar was the key scorer...if only he were a bit more consistent and had some brains....*sigh*

Yeah i was dissapointed with the low scores also. Al Shariar was good with that 83 i wonder how many balls it took. Hannan Sarkar got 2/18 and 45. interesting maybe a call up. lol. jokes. But if he keeps on scoring runs he may get a call up.

I am satisfied with the scores. People don't forget this is just 20 OVERS MATCH! Score of 171 is really good, the other matches were not that bad either. Al-Shahrar was real good, now he might get another chance in the national squad. Actually I would wait and see how he does in some other matches before he is to call up for the natinal squad. Anyone happens to know the previous scores of Al-Shahriar in the 20-20?

Al Shahriar is a big slogger with the the odd text book shot being played, he should be tried in the ODI's but not the tests as he goes for too manu shots.

I totally disagree bro..If u think like that of Al-Shahriar then u must have seen him play only in the World Cup 2003...He has been & still is one of the very few Bangladeshis having a wide range of strokes with a solid technique & the ability to play over the top...If u observe him in the middle u'll notice that the guy has a classy appearence...Now whether he has been doing justice to his talents is another issue..!!...However...The last time Al-Shahriar played a test match he did score 31 against Australia in Australia...Makes u wonder considering the current state of squad that why he was dropped on the first place !....I personally feel Shahriar Hossain Biddut is another player who has never done justice to his talents..I still feel he has so much more left in him....He is still one thousand times better than the likes of Nafees, Aftab or Kapali.
