Fire rages through market in Dhaka
A fire rages through downtown market in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004. According to a fire official, the fire gutted nearly 1,800 bamboo and tin shops, killing at least one person and injuring 15 others. (AP Photo/Pavel Rahman)

is it the bango market? few years back it was completely burned down once. they rebuilt it. there was a romur at that time that other markets did it because they could not compete against them. 
all we can hope is they will recover like last time. |

Fire was not fully eliminated till evening. All the shops were closed, inside flammable goods; cloths, rags and bamboo made false ceiling are spreading the fire. Some nearby building, Gulistan complex also caught fire. Several fire fighting unit are working.
