38 and counting, married, 2 kids. one new born. I have been in states since 86. now in CA-SF BAY areas. last played cricket in 80's. recently started some light cricket on saturdays locally. I have been watching/following cricket from 77 when MCC toured bangladesh. I remember yosuf babu had hit a six from indian bowler roger binny. I am thrilled to find this web site and often spend time on it during my lunch/off hours. thanks

I love cricket very much... I love to play cricket & also enjoy cricket matches in TV... Never miss any live cricket match... thats why max time i have to heared words from Parents... i missed many classes even class test for cricket matches...

i just signed in and i don't know much about cricket but a wan to learn about it.
i'm 15 years old and i live in montreal .
i find this page on google i was searching for bangladesh aircraft and i find this : www.banglacricket.com--- they sayed that bangladesh has send two c-130 hercules and 2 heli and that's how i find out his page.

anyways i always liked cricket but not that much.

I am also a not so young member here. I remember Roger Binny and Yousuf Rahman Babu. In those days Hyderabad blues was more than a match for Bangladesh national team. Bangladesh cricket team has improved a lot since then though.

Is there a mailing address for the Banglacricket?
Tehsin: We met in a house at Lanham, Cathedral Ave. Haradhon "bhai" would be fine, "uncle" sounds too old and discriminatory! I have not been updated about the tape tennis thing at the UMCP since 2003, but will keep you posted.

My passion's sports starting from GOLF to ROWING. I used to play cricket at district league (Netrakona), and I'm a BLIND BD supporter.

I thank this forum, moderators and all of you for giving us the wonderful chance to share our common feelings towards cricket. Believe me , you are not the oldest ! If you want to know about the 1960-61 India v Pakistan series, talk to me. Even vague memories of Australia vs. Pakistan at Dhaka a year earlier.

Out of interest. How did you follow cricket then ? BBC ? Radio Australia ? All India Radio ?

PS : There used to be a time when I was among the older people on this forum, when only rafiq was old enough to be addressed 'bhai'. Bad old days !
