I used to listen BBC World service when I was in back home, those old days you know. Used to listen to the voice of John Ovanden, Roger Moore, Sunni Tanha (correct spellings?). I don't know whether they are still working for BBC. Please shed some light.

Dear S M Hasan,

I tend to fall asleep with the world service on. If I wake up in the middle of the night I might listen for a while before nodding off into slumber. Some of the personalities you mentioned do seem familiar, however, I cannot be certain in what context I have heard their names. I joined the modern world about a year ago by investing in a small digital radio adaptor for my hifi. Since then a whole new world has opened up to me. The BBC world service seems to have its own channel permanently on which is very convenient indeed. I notice that you are in Herts, so you should be able to pick up the station rather better than me.

I am not a techno guitarist. I am more of an old chord player with some knwoledge of Sa Re Ga Ma. Like to go up and down, do arpeggio, play symphonic tunes like Vinnie (thanks to Selim Haider bhai).

Sure we can jam if you agree to jam with a 20 $ blue grass guitar,

might be true in some cases. i think its more of personal taste then age. also its easier to find stuff here that one likes as we are exposed to more.
