Any batsman for the ENG tour besides the known faces?
These following 6 specialist batsman are certain to be in the eleven man team for Bangladesh (at least before watching their performance in the warm up matches or for the 1st test):
1. Javed
2. Nafees
3. Bashar
4. Rajin
5. Ashraful
6. Aftab
And then comes keeper Mashud, and the rest of the all-rounders / bowlers like Mashrafee, Rafique, Tapash, Nazmul, Rana, Enamul Junior etc.
But what happens if 1 or 2 of the above is (Allah Na Koruk) injured or sick or out of form? Who can be the 12th/13th/14th man, provided that the 15th and the 16th man will be pure bowlers (I'm considering taking 16 players for the whole tour)?
I'm coming up with this question because clearly neither Al Shahriar nor Alok Kapali looks set (upto their performance against East Zone for the BCB XI) to be in the BD national team.

There's always Alok, even if you rule him out :P

Don't like Alok and Rokon as replacement? Tough luck....
But for fun, you still have some choices based on as a fan what is your tolerance level:
People who likes old rejects(but still young in age):
1. Hannan
2. Mushfique
3. Faisal Hossain
4. Sanwar
5. Tushar
People who likes real oldies:
1. Nannu
2. Akram
3. Bulbul
4. Naimur
5. Mehrab Sr.
People who are like Michael Jackson:
1. Razzak ( Like Hannan, he also scores a 50+. But against stronger team)
2. Raqibul
3. Mushfiqur Rahim
4. Saqibul
5. Mehrab Jr.
And now people, who falls none of the above category:
1. Shahriar Nafees
2. Tushar
3. Mushfiqur Rahim (as a substitue WK + bench warmer)
4. Dhiman only if he perform in the rest of the series (as a substitue WK + bench warmer)
5. [Sorry out of ideas]

Shahriar Nafees can definitely fit in..Hez got class written all over him...& I'm not necessarily talking about the opening slot....He can fit into any number that might be vacant....And how about Rashedul Huq of Dhaka...He has been in pretty decent form in the ongoing National League and have been scoring consistently for a few years now...

Shariar Nafees definetly needs to be tried out soon. He has played in english conditions only last year.

Nothing.
Sorry I was out of options. But unfortunately he is still our first option for some of the fans. If you don't like him, then pick from the rest of the group then.
