First Indian to be in F1
Narain Karthikeyan
"Karthikeyan, 28, who was only confirmed last month as India's first F1 driver, was fined 6,750 US dollars by stewards for exceeding the pit lane speed limit in his Jordan car during opening practice ahead of Sunday's season-opening Aussie GP. "

He is making his debut today at the Australian F1 Grand Prix. Lets hope he can prove his critics wrong!

No they do very poorly for the population
Karthikeyan doesn't deserve a place in Formula 1. He'll just be another failed attempt to get more countries involved, just like Alex Yoong

Narayan finished 15 in the first race and 11 in the second, and was 12 in the qualifiers for the Australian GP. All decent finishes, but with a car like Jordan you cannot expect any miracles.
