Default India v Pakistan, 1st ODI, Kochi (April-2, 2005)

As per cricinfo.com the probable team is:

India 1 Sachin Tendulkar, 2 Virender Sehwag, 3 Sourav Ganguly (capt), 4 Rahul Dravid, 5 Yuvraj Singh, 6 Mohammad Kaif, 7 Mahendra Dhoni (wk), 8 Irfan Pathan, 9 Harbhajan Singh, 10 Lakshmipathy Balaji, 11 Murali Kartik.

Pakistan 1 Shahid Afridi, 2 Salman Butt, 3 Shoaib Malik, 4 Inzamam-ul-Haq (capt), 5 Yousuf Youhana, 6 Abdul Razzaq, 7 Kamran Akmal (wk), 8 Arshad Khan, 9 Mohammad Sami, 10 Rana Naved-ul-Hasan, 11 Danish Kaneria.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
The Indian team probable looks ok. But in Pakisatn team probable, I doubt both Kaneria and Arshad will play. I think either one of them will be IN and Md. Hafiz will be in. Younis Khan is sick so he is out from 1st one-day.

They are predicting high score. Whoever bats first need to score 300+.

The side seem evenly matched. I would still give the edge to Pakistan because of their confidence level after that fantastic win.

I think it's going to be far closer than that. Although I'll give a slight edge to Pakistan, a 3-3 draw is quite possible.

I think 4-2 Pakistan or 3-3 draw is most likely. I would hate for a drawn series though. This will be a very exciting ODI series. Go Pakistan.

India 195-2 after 33 overs...Those dropped chances of Sehwag is proving to be very costly indeed.....Rana Naved seems to be continuing from where he left off in the VB series Down under......The track is so true that I feel even 350 is atainable if Pakistan can bat with a bit of common sense.....

Finally. Sehwag departs. Razzaq bowled this dude out. He was a menace.

Mohammad Hafeez to Dravid, no run, RUN OUT! driven away to midwicket, Dravid gives up half way through, Sami hits the stumps direct, India seven down and struggling.

India 266/7 (48 ov)

Balaji goes!

Arshad Khan to Balaji, OUT: another one bites the dust! on the stumps, Balaji moves across and swings hard eyeing the square leg fence, misses the target by miles and gets bowled, Arshad Khan strikes again.

India 269/8 (49 ov)
