Where is Aminul Islam ?
Why didn't the BD selectors opt for experience in the WC squad ? Why so many youngsters were included ?
I guess the lack of experience was our main reason in our loss to Canada.
The most baffling exclusion was Aminul Islam who was our former captain and had made a Century on Test Debut (145*) vs India which still remains our highest score.

I can live with everyone in that team, but if Shanto comes back into the side, I am going to stop supporting Bangladesh! The guy is terrible. Better batsman than a bowler. I am serious.

However much I liked those cricketers, I feel that it was a good decision to opt for youth. Aminul and Akram may have done a great job, but they are just not going to hang around long enough to provide much longer term cricket. I like the current squad no matter how much we sucked in the last 2 matches.
I like Opee though, and would love to see him back.
I agree with Sham that a return to Shanto would be a total disaster.

Opee
Opee is in good form, scoring oodles of runs in the dhaka league. However, both Seezan and Hannan RULE to domestic cricket circuit with hundreds of runs and we see how well that works out against ICC associates.
Again, how can a whole team suck as a unit specially since they never rock AS A UNIT ?

bring back nazim shirazi
hey i say why stop with bulbul, go all the way back and bring back nazim shirazi to open. he still leads the LA league in runs and canadians have proven that part-timers can play. nazim can probably open better than the current openers. he may have a couple of years left in him, maybe more. i say call that 800 number for his company and get him to go back.
