The first test against England is only a couple of weeks away. Rain has forced the Bangladesh teams preparation indoors with the visitors due on October 8. Both teams have been busy with international schedules with England drawing South Africa at home 2-2 and Bangladesh getting better and better with each test as they came close to beating hosts Pakistan in the last series.

The first test against England is only a couple of weeks away. Rain has forced the Bangladesh teams preparation indoors with the visitors due on October 8. Both teams have been busy with international schedules with England drawing South Africa at home 2-2 and Bangladesh getting better and better with each test as they came close to beating hosts Pakistan in the last series.

It is a good time to look back at our test record at home. We have lost all our home matches starting with the inaugural match against India only 3 years ago. We are up against a team who have played more cricket in the subcontinent and enjoyed some success in their recent tours in the area. On the other hand, Bangladesh has played 9 matches at home, with 5 of them in Dhaka and 4 in Chittagong. There was only one draw out of those 9 matches but rain was the winner in that match.
