India have posted a challenging 284/7 in the second ODI of the three-match GrameenPhone series at Mirpur Sher E Bangla Stadium in Dhaka today. Indian skipper Rahul Dravid won the toss and decided to bat first on a good batting track. A polished century from opener Gautam Gambhir propelled India to 284/7 in the stipulated 49 overs.
Gambhir was well supported by his skipper Dravid who struck a patient 42 off 47 balls and Mahndra Dhoni chipped in with 36 runs to take Indian in a good position.
Mohammad Rafiq was the most successful bowler for Bangladesh and he took 3 wickets for 59 runs. Paceman Syed Rasel bagged 2 wickets for 49 runs.
