A 72 ball 76 from opeber Salman Butt helped Pakistan to ease into a 7 wicket win over touring Bangladesh in the rain-affected second ODI of the Bank Al Falah ODI series at Faislabad on Friday.
Salman Butt was ably supported by Mohammad Yousuf who made a 30 ball 32 and shared a breezy 73 run partnership in just 10.3 overs. Pakistan reached the revised target of 158 in 23.2 overs under the Duckworth and Lewis Method for the loss of three wickets.
Earier, Bangladesh's young opener Tamim Iqbal and all-runder Mahmudullah struck half centuries to guide Bangladesh to a modest 225-8 as rain curtailed Bangladesh's innings to 48.2 overs.
