Bangladesh's Asia Cup ends with humiliating defeat

4 July 2008

Bangladesh's struggle against top eight team continues as they have ended their Asia Cup 2008 mission conceding a humiliating 10 wicket loss against host Pakistan in Karachi on Monday.

Bangladesh opetd to bat after winning the toss and were bundled out for a paltry 115 in 38.2 overs. In reply, Pakistan stormed to victory without losing any wicket with 30.2 overs to spare.

Bangladesh, after a remarkable success in World Cup 2007, failed to win a single match against top cricketing nations with new coach Jamie Siddons and the losing streak now continues to 17 match.
