A brilliant 183 ball 151 by opener Tamim Iqbal led Bangladesh's resistance on the 3rd day of the 2nd Test match at Sher E Bangla Stadium in Mirpur today. Tamim shared a Bangladesh record 200 run partnership with Zunaed Siddique before both becoming victim of Zaheer Khan at the fag end of the days play. Zunaed struck a patient 144 ball 55 in the 2nd wicket partnership.
Bangladesh ended day 3 on 228 for 3, still trailing India by 83 runs with 7 wickets remainng in the 2nd innings. Earlier, India resumed the day on 459/5 and declared at lunch with 544 runs on board with the loss of 8 wickets.
