Zimbabwe outplayed Bangladesh in all departments in their comeback Test after a 6 years self-imposed exile as the hosts surged to a 130 run victory over a hapless Bangladesh side at Harare Sports Club ground today. Chasing an unlikely victory target of 375 Bangladesh made a mockery of Test cricket as they played needless 20-20 style shots to get themselves out and hand Zimbabwe perfect occasion to celebrate their Test return. Bangladesh were finally all out for 244 courtesy of some whirlwind stroke-play by Abdur Razzak who blasted 43 from just 17 balls, but his innings typifies Bangladesh's lack of professional approach to Test cricket.
Brief Scores Zimbabwe 370 (Masakadza 104, Sibanda 78, Taylor 71) and 291 for 5 dec (Taylor 105*, Taibu 59);
Bangladesh 287 (Nafees 50, Ashraful 73, Shakib 68, Vitori 4-66) and 244
