Pakistan announced a virtually unchanged Test and ODI squad from the one that recently played against Sri Lanka in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the upcoming series against Bangladesh. The selectors excluded Wahab Riaz after his name cropped up during the spot-fixing trial in London earlier this month. Young pacer Mohammad Talha will replace Wahab for the tour starting from November 26.
Addressing a news conference at Gaddafi Stadium, chief selector Mohammad Illyas told reporters that Wahab had been dropped for the tour after consultations with the selectors and team management. For the ODI squad,t here is again only one change with leg-spinner Yasir Shah coming into the side. Misbahul Haq has been retained as captain.
