As of stumps on Day-3 at Mirpur, touring party West Indies is leading with 331 runs with 7 wickets remaining. When Nasir miscued his shot trying to slog Marlon Samuels over deep-midwicket and giving an easy catch to Kirk Edwards, it only remained for Bishoo to wipe out the tail.

West Indies started their 2nd innings with the score reading at 0-1 after a direct-hit from Naeem Islam sent the opener Braithwaite to dressing room. But a solid 151 run third-wicket partnership between Kirk Edwards and D. Bravo (the latter would eventually see to his maiden ton in Test) helped the Caribbean rebuild a platform for a grand lead slowly edging the hosts out of the game.

With the game favouring towards West Indies, Bangladesh will look forward to restrict them below a 400-lead and play primarily for survival with a win as an ancillary goal. But given the penchant of playing shots of the hosts and to chase down irregular totals, the stage is indeed set for a dramatic conclusion over forthcoming last 2 days.
