All rounder Shakib al Hasan is back in the team after opting to rest for the unofficial tri-series in Zimbabwe. Pacer Shafiul Islam is back in the fold after having had to sit out due to a shoulder injury. Making way for them are young prospect Anamul Haque and all rounder Farhad Reza. Chief selector Akram Khan said Anamul had been left out to focus on the upcoming Under-19 World Cup in Australia later in August. "He has a lot of time and I think if he plays in the age-level World Cup, it will bring more maturity to his game," Akram said. Bangladesh starts their tour with a three-match series against Ireland between July 18 and 21 in Belfast. The second leg is at The Hague in the Netherlands, where Bangladesh play Scotland on July 24 and Netherlands on July 25.
