The visiting Sri Lankans handily took the third ODI to sweep the series adding to their victories in the T20 and Test series. The Bangladeshis promised both to score north of 300 and also below 200 in a see saw batting with most batsmen giving away their wickets at strange moments to see them stutter to a 240/8. Youngster Mominul Haque was the standout with 60.
Sri Lanka rested their Big 3 but their youngsters very able took over for them. Kusal Perera scored his maiden ODI century and Chandimal chipped in with a solid 64 as the visitors won facilely with six wickets to spare.
