Kent won by 3 wickets: Bangladesh A 185 & 155 Kent 153 & 188/7

Bangladesh A batted miserably and were all out for 155 in the second innings. Only notable performance was from Captain Shahriar Nafees scoring 58. For Kent, Joseph did the most damage taking 5 wickets for 19 runs. Chasing next, Kent reached the winning target of 188 losing 7 wickets. Syed Rasel and Shahadat Hossain each took 3 wickets

Bangladesh A restricted the Antiguans to 180 in a limited overs match. Mehrab Hossain claimed five wickets while Abdur Razzak Raj claimed two. Batting second, the Bangladeshis failed to reach the winning target and were all out for 160. Shahriar Nafees was the highest scorer with 35. Pacer Mali Richards, son of the legendary Viv Richards, did the most damage, taking 6 wickets for 29 runs.

Match Drawn: Surrey 336/5 dec & 332/6 Bangladesh A 336 & 113/1

On the third and final day, Surrey played it safe to ensure a draw. Talha Jubair dominated with the ball and took 4 wickets. For Surrey, Butcher led with 90 with support from Benning (51) and Salisbury (55*). After Surrey declared at 332/6, Bangladesh batted out the remaining 24 overs of the match without any hiccups, scoring 113 at stumps at the expense of Shahriar Nafees, who scored 63.

Bangladesh A (299/6) beat Durham (213/10 in 45.2 ov) by 86 runs

The Bangladesh A team beat the youngsters of Durham by 86 runs. Batting first, Bangladesh A racked up a massive 299 on the back of a 133 ball 147 from skipper Shahriar Nafees. He was well supported by his opening partner Mehrab Hossain jnr (59) and the two put up a 209 run opening partnership before Mehrab fell. Tushar Imran and Nazimuddin chipped in with some fast scores. In return, Yorkshire kept losing wickets at regular intervals and their innings folded on 213. Shahadat Hossain was the top wicket taker for the A team (4/34).

Day 3: Yorkshire 357/2d & 240/4d, Bangladesh A 325 & 146

On the final day, Yorkshire scored 240 runs for 4 wickets and declared. Chasing 273 to win, BD A batted miserably and were all out for 146. Yorkshire won the match by 126 runs.

Bangladesh A had a tough day on the field as Yorkshire amassed a huge 357/2 before declaring. In return, Bangladesh A lost Nafees Iqbal for 5 to end the day 332 runs in arrears at 25/1. Openers Sayers and Wood made merry with the willow with Sayers scoring 115 and Wood an unbeaten 202.

Due to rain, no play was possible on the third say and the match was declared drawn.

Due to rain, only 10 overs could be played for the day. Glamorgan made good use of the wicket condition to claim the wickets of Nafees Iqbal and Tushar Imran.

Glamorgan were bowled out for 380 on the first day, with Michael Powell top-scoring with 111.

Day 3: Gloucestershire 232 & 330 for 5 dec beat Bangladesh A 251 & 181 by 130 runs

Resuming on 159/3, Gloucs raced quickly to 330/5 when they declared their innings on the back of 94 ball century by Alex Gidman. Gidman added added 119 with Stephen Snell, who followed up his first innings 83 with another solid 42. In return Bangladesh started steadily until Malinga Bandara scythed through the middle order returning figures of 5-45. Eventually, the Bangladesh innings folded at 181.

Day 2: Gloucestershire 232 & 159 for 3 lead Bangladesh A 251 by 140 runss

Day 1: Gloucestershire 232/10 (58.1 overs) Bangladesh A 98/3 (29 overs)

Having won the toss and electing to field, Bangladesh A team had Gloucestershire by the jugular but could not finish them off. At one point Gloucestershire were 72/7 but an unbeaten 83 from Snell and some solid scores from the tailenders saw them reach 232. In reply, Bangladesh too had a disastrous start, losing the first 3 wickets for only 29 runs on the board. Then Alok Kapali (41*) and Tushar Imran (36*) saw them through the woods with an unbeaten 69 run partnsership at stumps.

Preview

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has picked a host of national players in the 15-member Bangladesh 'A' team for the forthcoming tour of England.

As many as nine current national players have been picked with Shahriar Nafees Ahmed being named captain.

The team is scheduled to leave for England on July 15..

They will play five Three-day and four One-day games against different county selected teams during their month-long tour.
