Bangladesh U-19 take the series

Bangladesh U-19 cricket team finished their preparation for the up-coming U-19 World CUp in style as they defeated West Indies U-19 cricket team by 52 runs in the series deciding fourth and final one-dayer match at the Narayanganj Osmani Stadium on Wednesday. With this win Bangladesh won the four match youth ODI series 2-1. The first match of the series was washed out due to inclement weather.
After posting a challenging 232 in stipulated 50 overs, Bangladesh bowlers bowled out West Indies for 180 off 47.4 overs.
Top order batsmen Rony Talukder (59 off 67) Saikat Ali (49 off 79 and Nadmimuddin (49 off 87)helped Bangladesh to post the highest total of the series and bowlers led by lanky seamer Shubhashis Roy did the rest to ensure a convincing win. Shubhashish grabbed 4 wickets for 27 runs and skipper Sohrwardy Shuvo bagged 3 wickets for 26 runs.
