BengaliPagol at first look I thought you could open with Hussey but if Hussey to open then it opens up a middle order a little bit so good move to keep Hussey at middle order and open with Hughes and Birt. As for option with Akmal and Kevin O Brien, I would play Umar Akmal at no 4 and Brien at 7.
1. Travis Birt
2. Philip Hughes
3. Shaun Marsh
4. Umar Akmal
5. Michael Hussey
6. Brendon Taylor
7. Kevin O Brien
8. Daniel Vettori
9. Naved ul Hasan
10. Brett Lee
11. Lonwabo Tsotsobe

i always thought Hussey will definitely be my opener but since drafting doesnt always go your way i ended up not getting a quality middle order batsmen so i had to put Hussey down the order. Hussey is a good finisher so he will prosper down the order. Thanks for your advice

from your insightful knowledge perhaps you are correct, maybe that same insightful knowledge that questioned Ian Ponts coaching ability should really keep his mouth shut.

Congrats to the Pittsburgh Pirates for winning their opening match of the MLC by downing the Chicago Bulls by a considerable margin. Phil Hughes was the difference in the match. Details of the match will be available shortly.
