1. Drop nazmul for tareq.
2. Push ash back to no. 5 spot.
3. Tell me about mushfique's injury

This lineup would work well if we had habibul

JO, Nafis, Habibul, Ash, Rajin, Aftab, Manju, Mashud

just a thought

anyway as for this match, would seem mushfiqur wont play - giving his place to tareq maybe, and we might also see rafique instead of nazmul or chacha, both those 2 shouldnt be in the squad in my opinion.

Mushfique got injured, don't know how serious - he didn't come to bat at the end of the day and also didn't bowl after 2.2 overs.

I would bring in Rafique and Tareq dropping Nazmul. But i'll give Nazmul another game in Scotland and/or against USA perhaps. I hope Aftab gets some practice in the middle in this match. Tapash, Tareq, Mushfique and Chacha - it seems like an OK pace-bowling line up to me if they bowl with decipline. Little thin in terms of fire power, but that's our best bet at this moment. I just wondered, why Ash stopped his LB? Ash & Kaps both are capable leggies who can do part-time 5th bowlers job against most of the team if they work on their bowling a bit.

Congrats to Nafis for his 70 ball century. I'm sure he will learn in course of time to transfer his practice match demolition to real match soon.

I hope for a little more convincing win today.

Good thing is, these are only PRACTICE one day (not one day international) matches. I will give everyone a shot to prove themselves and thus play Nazmul and Aftab atleast 1/2 more matches. I guess if I want to keep it that way, Chacha will get another shot for his "vast english experience". Who knows, his slow medium pace may be two hot to handle for the associate sides.

If somebody call it a "luck", we don't have much word to counter it.
Only three of us made double figure, rest of five made only 22 runs against Ireland.
Middle order bats man failed completely before Ireland bowlers.
In that sense except Nafis, we lost the entire match to Ireland.
Hope that will not continue today, and like to see a clear victory.
Good luck to BD.

I disagree with bringing in Tarek in place of Nazmul. Tarek has shown himself to be a mediocre pace bowler who often goes for big runs. Clearly, he doesn't have much potential and should not merit a spot on a quality team. Nazmul might have a much brighter future ahead of him and we should use him as much as possible in this tour to give him a taste of international cricket.

It was also for Tareq Aziz's contribution with the ball that we got to win against Zimbabwe and with his contribution with the bat that we got to draw the test match against West Indies.

Unless Mashrafee/Talha/Shahadat etc. get enough experience and be accurate as well as penetrative, we're always going to have to have someone like Tareq Aziz in the line-up.

if they work on their bowling a bit - Alok has now the chance to work on his bowling now that he's got some time off from International cricket. But Ashraful? I don't know how the part time bowlers cum specialist batsman like Ramnaresh Sarwan, Sherwin Campbell et al. bowl so accurately, if we want Ashraful to go into that stage, we'll need to improve our overall cricket infrastructure.

Have you seen how a debutant number eleven (besides Muralitharan) Sri Lankan batsman can punish the bad balls, no matter what the situation is? This is the result of years of hard work by the Sri Lankan board. This is what our board has to do first.

since this is a practise match, whoever didn't play today should get a chance tomorrow. so I would expect tareq Aziz for the injured Mushfiq, Rafique for Rana and finally Faisal for either a batsman or else Sujon or Tapash ( I would rather they kept all the 5 bastmen from today because they either need the practise or are already in form and the team cannot play without them ).

Tareque for Mushfiq and Rafique for Chacha/Nazmul. I think 2 spinners would be better choice for today's match.

I'd try out 6 batsmen instead of 5 adding Faisal to the top five, keep Masud and Rana in place and 3 bowlers, Tareq, Nazmul and Rafiq, in the mix.

Tapash would get a rest. Rajin and Ash together would be the fifth bowler.

It would be a spin attack mainly to see out the strength on an anticipated batting pitch.

Feel nervous? Get Mahmud or Tapash instead of Rafiq for a change. We should never go run hungry again.

We should not change the team a lot, because we didn't do well in first practice.
We can not lose to Ireland giving everyone a chance for practice either.
Besides, we have to get a good practice & result as well, which comes from the team effort,
before we go for champions trophy.
So I think we should bring Tareq and Rafiq in replace of Mushfiq and Mahmud.
If we can win against Ireland in a comfortable way, then we can think about lot of combination.

We did extremely well. We should give credit where it is due. It is always difficult to chase a 6.5 rr. Yes we fumbled in the middle but we managed to see them off. And there is always a high possibility of such fumble for any team chasing such a high target.

We need win. We can't afford loss to an associate member.
The present team is OK. Only change may be mushfiq due to his injury.

Wow, that 6.5 rrr was beyond my imagination!
I was not able to follow the game last night, so it was hard for me to realize the situation.
If we had to fumbled because of chasing that high run rate, then you have a point.
if it's not, then we got the same old problem as we usually collapse suddenly and lose the match.

Of course we should give all the credit who deserve for this win.
