Default How does it "feel" to get banned?

Not to quote Razabda, but people have reached out to me in social media personally and pleaded and kaan jhalapala kore dise: "Zeeshan bhai, please open us your trademark hit thread." "Zeeshan bhai how come you don't open those funny threads anymore.."

Whale (not iDumb's bou)..

Here you have it. I always wondered before going to bed, what it feels like to get banned. I tied myself with handcuffs, drowned under bathtub and hung from my bed in my lace skirt cut out of sofa fantasizing what it feels like.

You see, I am just a small speck, a minutiae, a dust in the forever saga of BC. Many veterans before me came, and many veterans after me will come who have struggled, been kicked at, shot at, stabbed and wounded with ..the ban hammer.

I bow to them. This is the story of POW who escaped from Burma up River Kwai and found them in the drain through Burigana doing hapush hupush habudabu a la Shawsank Redemption.

Tell us your journey.
Tell us your epic.

Bestow us your knowledge.

So...after the immortal words of Al-Furqaan in his fourth ban of BC career "Give me proxy log in or death..." I ask you:

What does it "FEEL" like to get banned?

If I developed "feelings" from getting banned from an Internet forum, I think I'd need to take a hard look at my life.

I'd probably come to the conclusion that I need to improve my life by being on many different Internet forums, so that a ban from one wouldn't matter so much.

I have been banned multiple times in BC and PP but I never take those by heart. Got used to it now

For me these virtual discussions on internet forum are all about fun, banter and laughter. Lets face it...no one is a cricket expert here and everyone must not only discuss serious cricket stuffs. That in fact makes the forum boring. Of-course profanity/abuse is a big no no but little bit humor (trolling ) makes a forum interesting.

Also, one thing I have noticed that I have often been banned not for trolling but for speaking the harsh truth. I remember on PP, I once called Saeed Ajmal a blatant chucker with a straight face. That was before his action was called and I was immediately banned. Within next few months, I was proved right and Ajmal was acutally found to be a chucker. They remove my ban and ICC banned Ajmal instead

Then next time I got banned there was right after champions trophy 2013 when Pak toured West Indies. Pak was coming after a horrendous show in Champions trophy and was playing a warm up game against Guyana team. Being a loud mouth that I am...I said "Pakistan today has a great chance to upset Guyana". I thought people would appreciate me but alas they banned be instead.

Here in BC, there was a forum wide protest for me calling Aksar Patel better than Shakib. I was banned and denied the right to post here during WC 2015

Then next time I got banned was during T20 WC 2016 when Taskin was called for suspect action. I just said from naked eye his action look suspicious and wont be surprised if ICC ban him. I got banned but a week later I was unbanned and Taskin got banned instead by ICC

I have also been banned from various troll cricket sites in facebook. The worst troll cricket page is the one maintained by SriLankans. They are obsessed with Indians and troll us/our players on every post. Even though we are not playing and say its a SL vs Eng game, they will still drag Virat Kohli to troll us. In comes Austin and I trolled them so badly they banned me within 3 days. The only mistake I did, I used to post from my official FB ID and all my friends could see my posts as well. I remember my manager at work told me one day that you might get a beating by some lankan fan some day. I make them so much angry that they stopped speaking in Eng and used to respond my posts in Tamil so that I dont understand. After they banned me, within 1 week that page was taken down by FB for multiple complains from Indians

Now they have re opened that page but have blanket blocked all Indians (yes all Indians) from posting in that page.

So cant post there now. Searching for a new troll page where I can have full license to troll

I have been banned many times from Internet forum because of sharing link. I did share the link but it was relevant and shared only to solve a problem of somebody. But as per the forum I violated the rules and so they banned me.

Why ? You are interacting with real people not alexa from amazon or siri from Apple ...

Facebook thrives based on this human feeling ...

Was disappointed in BCF when I made a thread reporting Mustafizur was banned for chucking, just stating the truth, and everyone wanted me banned for trolling

Lost all faith in the forum after the thread title was shamefully altered from the truth without my consent.

The irony of that truth...

I didn't knew there was another Mustafizur up until you posted about it.

But sticking with this thread nature, have you ever gotten ban from this forum? And how does it feel?

It feels like I was sleep walking in public wearing a lungi...
And then I woke up without my lungi.

If a certain study I saw a while back has any truth to it, I think the women are feeling a little, ahem, short changed.....

Anyway no, I've never been banned from any forum, yet.

Religious forum? This? If anything this is a PG 13 forum.

Fair point Razab, the women here in oz are paranoid.
Aklemap there are a fair few religious types here,I am sure I would have got banned if i posted that in that thread.
Any teenagers would probably have giggled or been in shock.

How someone can express their feeling here if they are banned?

To get real feedback from "Bhukto Bhogi", I suggested unban all the of banned members for atleast one specific day, so they can response.

There's gotta be a feeling of paranoia from the person.
