One day series......
Well, now that we have annihilated the Lankans in the test series (khek),let's focus on the ODI series.
We get three chances in getting at least one win. Our test performance made it evident that we play our test matches afster then our ODIs. If they can bring that decipline to our ODI matches, we can surely score around 180 within 40 overs. If the lanka board decides to drop jayasuria from the squad, We'll get a chance to minimize our loss to withiin 100 runs or 7/8 wickets.
If they send in their top players, we are toast. I'd say losses around 150-200 or 9/10 wickets - you pick.
NOW, if our boys get their act together, we might be able to surprise the Lankans. Come on guys, throw us a bone here. If you can't even compete then why bother playing at all?

Nothing has been achieved so far
That's right. Nothing has been achieved so far in the test series.
Ashraful & Hannan's fifty, Sumon's out of form, relatively good performance by the debutants Hannan, Talha, Alok and Tapash - these are all expected as time goes by.

ODI goal
I think we can break the 200 at least twice during this series. We may not have patient players but we do have a few hard hitters in Shujon (he hit NZ for bunches for god's sake), Rafique, Hannan, Rokon, Ash in the team. Let them play their natural careless games and maybe they'll succeed.
i am not saying that we'd winany of them but atleast we can score more then the test scores.

Why is that ?
Why do they play the Test matches like a wild harde of chicken (you know what I mean) is after them but when they play ODI, they are calm and collected. It seems as if they have no hurry in the world,no where to go. They are just out there enjoying the sun and (they go) look, look at that red ball coming at me. Hmmm, bat diye ball ta thamiye dariye dariye punoraai hawa khawai mononibesh kore polagulo, jeno prithibir konno worryoder chute paarbena.

On test, BD people feels tired as it can drag on for days, so they want to have a score and go. Boedom and impatience get to them.
On ODI, they feel time is less, under pressure and cant bat, thus play slow. Fear gets to them.
I wish they acted the opposite.
