Overall 2007 was a very tough year for me - professionally, health wise and in education too. But all's well that ends well. So I would say it was successful but hard-earned.

It was a Bad year overall, I had some highs but couldn't maintain it and lots of lows, the positives is that I met new people that I've become close with and stayed tight with the friends I had, and now I've planned to start making big moves for 2008 that's gonna be tough but in the end is really gonna help me.
If I correct some of the mistakes I made in 07, 2008 is going to be a great year. Can't wait for it to start

It was, I think the worst year for me, to date. Hope no other year will exceed it. I'm calling it the worst for two main events. The first half of the year was marked by the death of my most favorite player and the second half by the death of my favorite sister.

Year 2007 was a successful (hard earned) year, and more importantly, it was a good year because my state of "bishonnota (frustration)" dropped to some extent.

Rubu, if its your first blood sister, I am shocked to know the news. There is no word to express our grief. May her soul rest in peace. Let us all make doa for her departed soul.

This year was too good for me. I've started gaining a lot of weights. I was only 148 pounds in January but Right now I'm weighing 260 pounds and thinking of reaching 500 pounds mark. Thats my goal for 2008.

Sorry to hear about ur loss Rubu, may her soul rest in peace..
the first half of the yeat was great for me, i met the girl of my dreams and im still with her now, success at A levels meaning i got into the Uni of my choice. At the start of uni, it was really hard for me but now im starting to enjoy more and met some amazing people along the way...there also have been some major downers for me with family related issues which i will not disclose..
n last but not least, the success of our cricket team!
may 2008 be a joyous n prosperous year for all of us!

Huge year. Had a death in the family, got a new addition to the family and finished highschool. The first ten months were really tough but the last two months have been fantastic. I can only hope that 2008 will take off from where 2007 ended.
And I too express my sympathies to Rubu and his family. Keep on trucking, mate.

Rubu, really sorry to hear about your loss. There's really not much an outsider can say when things like this happen. I just hope for the best for you and your family here on.
How are the wife and the baby doing?

Rubu, may Allah grant her the jannah! Life is such that you have to say goodbye to loved ones...even untimely at times.
