Ehsanul in for Hannan
Daily Star claims that Ehsanul will replace Hannan at the top of the order as the only change for the second ODI. I thought Tushar would have been a better choice in the middle order with Ash moving up to open, but I am pretty happy with this change.

spin mystery
still don't know why talha could not be selected instead of one of the spinners - say rafiqul. 0/1 sounds real good

Yes, we should definitely have had another fast bowler on this pitch. This is stupidity to play so many spinners on such an uneven pitch.

11.6 Tapash Baisya to Samuels, no run, A shocker! This one doesn't
bounce at all! What a pitch at Dhaka for an international game,
Samuels struggles to get some bat on it
WI is two down

All the soccer matches ruined the pitch at BNS. Our batsmen probably will face the similar difficulty while batting - balls getting low...

ehsanul haque
someone at crickinfo must be smokin something - ehsanul haque as first chage bowler?
i still can't get over the spinner overload, it's really bothering me that they would not want to play a rapidly improving talha jubair.

about pitch
15.4 Ehsanul Haque to Samuels, no run, can't blame the batsmen, this is
such a poor pitch to bat on, ball keeping low again, defended

don't remember tuning in for a game where the commentators have whined/complained this much about the bns pitch. is it especially bad this time - it always was a batting pitch. sounds like our batsmen will have an equally tough time.
manjurul bowls 9 overs straight. ehsanul is the first change bowler (probably because there is no third pacer).

manju bowls 10 straight incl one after drinks.
doesn't the coach "coach" bowling changes. isn't there a "bowling changes for dummies" book that one can send pilot? seems like anyone can bowl pretty well on this pitch, so manju could go for another 10 overs without getting hammered if they would let him.
even khaled mahmud would have been able to get more done today.

Ehsanul isn't doing too bad actually with his little medium pacers. He just has to put it in line and the pitch will do the rest. Monju bowled his 10 overs straight for 22, excellent figures. But again, Pilot is taking a huge gamble by bowling him out straight. Maybe he wanted to keep the pressure on the WI batsmen, but I would have kept a couple of overs for the end.
