Thanks for a brilliant tournament, tigers - best in my life time... best in Bangladeshi cricketing history. Runner up of Asia Cup 2012 but this is just the beginning. No looking back to the dark days of cricket. The tears of losing today said it all! Losses after losses but I have never seen tears on tigers' eyes.

Lets begin our journey with the new born spirit....

April '12- Pak tour (still in doubt)
August '12 - Zimbabwe tour
Sept '12 - ICC WT20 in Sri Lanka (21st v NZ; 25th v PAK)
Nov '12 - Host WI
March '13 - away in Sri Lanka

This is ridiculous. No series till August. Whatever momentum we had, will be lost. Look at how much India and SL are playing. SL were at SA, went to Aus, came to BD, and now going home for another series against England.

The gap is just too long. BPL was one of the reasons we played well in Asia cup. DPL is finished for this year. NCL was postponed. What will the players do for next 5 months?

I hope DPL 2nd round will starts soon and ncl will resume right after that. Out boys need some cricket.
And hopefully BCB will arrange at least 2 series for A team, academy and U19 team from now on till August.

seriously.... if the pak series doesnt happen (and I dont see why it will)... 5 months is a long time !!! and this Asia cup memories will start fading...

So hope now our Indian/Pakistani friends understand why this Asia cup was a such a big deal for us....

Bangladesh will tour Zimbabwe in August but yet to get dates and how many matches they will play.

I guess আই পি এল will help you feed some of your cricket hunger.

BD got very low preferences in that ICC FTP, that dont really fill our international calander well. I don't see even any full tour with India till 2020. No matter how much we get developed/improved in limited edition crickets meanwhile, these anglocentric money oriented world cricket nations wont give us much chances. So we should fully use our every chances to prove ourselves in test matches and try rank up. I personally liked to see Pak-Ban series really happen in April if proper security assurance is there. But current affairs proved that other than PCB-BCB, none (including other full members, ICC, FICA, media, anti-pak fanbase etc) don't likes this to be happen. Boy! there are way too many Pak haters all around. So Mostafa Kamal choose no to be with minority side at last.

ashraful, raqibul, shahadat, dollar mahmud, aftab, shahriar nafees (may be) should be the key players in that line up

Why cant we get Zimabwe to come here. Its always difficult playing against them at their backyard. On top of that they will make green bouncy pitches with little assistance for spinners.

Anyway even if there are no series for the NT, i hope we can arrange some A team tours, or invite teams to play here. Even a mini tournament (Bangladesh, Bangladesh A, Bangladesh B, Bangladesh Under 19) can give opportunity to young emerging players, and discards.

ICC needs to get its head out of its *** and realize in order to grow the game, your arrogant top end teams need to play the upcoming teams as well.

How else is someone supposed to get better?

They need to make it mandatory for each test playing nation to face every other test nation for at least 5 ODI's, 3 Tests, and 2 T20's every two years.

ICC is seriously one of the worst run sports bodies.
