Default What should We Do? Bat First or Bowl?

I'm really afraid that our batsmen dont understand T20 much and they are really unable to adjust with the pitch quickly enough. So it is difficult for us to set a target. I think we should bowl first....but again if Pakistan post a huge total we'll be doomed. really confused.....

bat...coz considering Westindies condition & strong bowling line up of Australia & Pakistan...we cant cope with the pressure of chasing

Bat first. EVen 140 will be a difficult score to chase against the spinners.

Enjoy as much as you can. Let the opponent captain win the toss.

It really doesn't matter for us. Conventional wisdom says bat first always if you win the toss on these type of wickets. Pressure of chasing can be unbearable with our fragile top order.

Our Strength is in Restriction, we force Mistakes, Thats how we pick up Wickets in ODI's and Tests and it's a very good option to pick up Wickets in T20's. Choke up the runs the Wickets will follow.

Our batsmen have no Idea how to pace any sort of innings, Once theres a set target the batsmen have an Idea of the type of aggression needed to win.

I am in favour of bowling:
1.In T20 it seems to me winning ration increases for chasers than ODI.
2.Our batsman are not that much intelligent to bat according to situation in that case its better to chase.

Tough call actually.
If the pitch and condition is like typical West Indies nature, I feel we should bat first. Put some sort of runs on the board and put the opposing team under pressure. If we post anywhere around 150+, AUS/PAK may feel the pressure and choke, as we have nothing to loose. If we bowl first, then AUS/PAK can put us out of the match by scoring 180+. Then there will be no pressure on them, all the pressure will be on our batsmen.

What I think we should do is bowl - 100%

Reasons(The undeniable truth):
1) We defeated India in 2007 WC bowling first, WI in 07 T20 WC doing same, as well as against Srilanka, Australia and Newzealand. So our main wins came bowling first
2) If the batting order fails, the bowlers will be demotivated when bowling.
3) Top order collapse will make Naeem play test cricket
4) If the target is know, we can adjust our play properly.

I have told this not depicting the weather and pitch but general tactics

The pitch NZ and SL will play is one of the slowest pitches and very hard to bat on. 120-140 is a defendable target. That is what Styris has just said. So the decision to Bat wouldn't be a bad idea if we can get some where near 130.

Against Pakistan ..Bat , make 140+ and you are guaranteed a victory.Pak's batting is too brittle to chase a good score .Apart from Razzaq who unfortunately is pushed down the order I dont see anyone capable to winning it for them . Their bowling is their key ..their bowling becomes even more potent when their batsmen fail.Negate that by batting first .

Against Australia do what you guys did to us in 2007.Put the opposition first and choke them with your slow bowlers.Razzaq,Sakib and Riyad would be the key then

Comeon, against Australia, what we really need is not only good bowling but batting. You might find that Aus scores 100 and our batsmen scores 90 all :
